Went in for the kids heart ultrasound. He started out showing me all the different parts and said it looked good. Her heart rate was staying around 63. Then he stopped talking and started taking pictures and measurements and asked if anyone in the house smoked. No, I have asthma and don't allow it. He said she had a calcium deposit in her heart and the beat was a bit "eratic". He didn't say anything after that just outlined lots of stuff on the screen. After we were done he said he would have the report done in about 10min and emailed go the Dr.

If I wasn't a paranoid wreck before, I am now!

Sorry Terrie. I really do hope things get better and it is not serious.:huggs:

Yesterday I popped in to a local grocery store and picked up family size packs of pork chops ( only $1.69lb). Picked up some of hubby's mess ( sigh). Stripped the bed and washed everything and put it back on. Made supper, then hubby's lunch for today.

This morning I made a run over the mountain to a farm market and picked up some tomatoes and another cantaloupe. I have to say my will power held and so I didn't buy any fresh baked pies, cakes, cookies or brownies from their newly expanded bakery. (sigh....lol)

I repackaged the pork chops today. Made 7 packs of 4 chops each. I have some chops in the crockpot going and I froze the other 6 packs

So far Flo is not going to be giving us much in the way of rain or wind ( at the latest forecast), but we'll see what SHE decides to do. She may just hit us with high winds ( which will still be bad news for the power). Glad we have the generator and its ready to go. Hubby just did an oil change on it, so its ready for winter

Plan on getting some walking in later before it rains hopefully

MMMMM, Pies :) Cut the lawn, weeded the flower beds, sprayed some herbicide, played with the fur missle and trimmed his nails, now it's dinner and then online training for the relief effort for hurricane Florence.

Got up,dressed. made bed.
Let Strawberry out. She caught a baby rabbit this morning.
Got medicine down, made cup of coffee for the first time since 5 weeks ago.
Actually kept coffee down this morning.
Resorted the laundry.
Went to Physical Therapy.
Ran errands. Son texted me, we were having Estelle today.
Wasn't supposed to have Estelle today.
Have her tomorrow and Friday.
When Estelle got to Granny's house there was a surprise waiting on her.
Granny was sitting on the floor, first time since surgery.
No, I didn't fall. I sat down on floor gingerly.
After a while Granny had to get off the floor and start laundry.
Did 2 loads of laundry, washed, dried, and hung up.
Did a sinkful of dishes.
Fixed lunch, picked up,changed Estelle's butt a couple of times.
Held Estelle and sang to her, rocked her to sleep for about 15 minutes.
Then it was dad's turn to hold and rock her, there she took 1.5 hour nap
Granny's Girls: Strawberry and Estelle.
I think she was happy to see Granny on the floor with her and Strawberry.

My stepdad died last year and I had to order mom a certified marriage certificate from the county they were married in so she could get his social security. There was also a 90 day limit on this. We found out about it and had to hustle to get it in and down to social security. Thinking about ordering a certificate copy of our marriage certificate just so we have it when the time comes.

This morning DH put the bottle lids on the new amber bottles we purchased and put them in the food storage room. I put 20 amber bottles in the pantry ready for us to decant off some of our vanilla extract and put the washed gifted jam jars in the kitchen cupboards. While DH was doing the bottle lids I started on separating the French and English lavender and then DH joined me to finish them.

DH then stain removed some clothing, put on a load of washing and hung it on the clothes line and brought it back in when dried. I watered some of the side of the house and a garden bed that is fallow at the moment with saved grey water from our showers and washing machine as we are going to plant it out shortly with vegetables.

Yep. When we moved to TX a few years ago we had to have all that kind of stuff to get new drivers' licenses, FIVE proofs of identification! I wonder what will happen if I ever move again. I think I've got everything I need.
It only cost Jose $100 to get proof of U.S. Citizenship....

Yes if if you've ever been divorced or changed your name best get those legal doc's too.
Being a man is different in they never change their name in marriage at least as far as I know.

Didn't get any canning done yesterday, so we are getting back on that today.

We are done with canning for awhile now we are just doing routine and catch up work around house and yard. Today Will order more legal doc's for drivers license from Atlanta and Jacksonville .
The questions they ask is insane like giving you a list of addresses and asking which ones you DIDN'T live at 50 years ago. Like I know moving around and having kids every year.

No Jose has lots of organizations helping him like Mencha, Laraza , ADL , CAIR, ACLU ,et,etc, etc, Plus most Family And Children's Services and HUD. Plus he can get a Visa or A Passport off the street corners of American cities with no questions ask.
Americans are 'processed' under a microscope. And the processor's so far here look and in some cases act like ANTIFA's.

My post was a joke! How easy and illegal alien can get "documentation" but a U.S. Citizen is rung through the ringer....

Chainsaw update:
I went out to finally get to cutting wood and the stupid thing wouldn't start again. After an hour and a half of messing with it I gave up and called Scott. Don't know when he'll get around to fixing it but hopefully I'll have it running before winter

When hubby and I married, we had all of our vehicles and home put in both our names, with the word or instead of and. And the reason being, hubby worked out of town monday thru friday, so therfore he couldn't get to the court house for tags and such. everything was fine until about 7 or 8 years ago . I went to get tags like I always did and they would not let me get them because he wasn't there. So the next week he had to take a day off work to get them, but guess what they done. They let him get the tags without me . Needless to say I was very angry. So I went to the courthouse and ask why he could get them without me but I couldn't get them without him. The clerks wouldn't give me a straight answer so I spoke to the probate judge and asked him. He said they should have let me have it and walked right out there and told them in the future when it said or to let the person have it. I've not had any more trouble.

Just got back from the cardiologist. He said that she had some mild regurgitation in the mitral, aortic and tricuspid valves. She also has aortic focal annulus calcification which usually
affects people over 65 but when it occurs in younger people its usually a heart defect that's present at birth which makes sense since she had heart problems when she was born.

He said her heart is strong and has an "ejection fraction" of 65% and everything else is within normal limits so he's not concerned. He said the leaks could have been there the whole time or can be caused by the POTS and as long as the symptoms stay mild we just keep an eye on it.

@Terri9630 , that sounds like a good report to me! And maybe a few more answers for you.

I went to the doc this morning about insomnia that has gotten so much worse since I started losing weight. I get no caffeine and no diet or pills of nay kind. He said take more melatonin and that's it for now. Checked my thyroid and did cbc. I look forward to seeing the results next week. Hoping they look even better with less weight!

This afternoon, I took my older friend from Church with me to two thrift stores and Dollar Tree. She enjoyed herself and I think she will sleep well tonight. Somebody should!

It sounds better than what was going through my mind.... I think maybe I need to quit reading so much because while I was looking up all that stuff everything I read says leaky valves are cause by or can lead to heart failure. I guess we will have to wait until the POTS resolves itself to see if the leaks continue.

This morning DH washed the dishes, cleaned the benches and I wiped them and put them away. Then DH vacuumed the whole house, I mopped the floors and around the fireplace and deep cleaned the bathroom and toilets for the week.

This afternoon DH fed lambie next door, weeded part of one of the vegetable garden beds and watered our newly planted potatoes and turnips in the gardens while I tidied off the kitchen table and wiped it clean and threw out some rubbish. Into the living room where we went through all of the junk mail and threw out what we didn't find anything in and we emptied the bath water for tomorrow to put out.

Tonight's dinner was pancakes with cream and or butter, homemade strawberry jam (without needles as they have someone in the supermarkets sticking some of our strawberries for sale in the supermarkets) and golden syrup. Dessert was tinned pears with homemade chocolate fudge sauce, yum :) , not slimming at all but a nice treat for a change.

Leaky valves are quite common, but 3 in one young heart...? To keep a heart strong or help it be stronger, she needs to exercise, an hour a day, weights, walking, staying active.
Did the cardiologist mention that?
So I'm hoping she gets another evaluation in 6 months, and provided everything is good, definite check ups with the cardiologist every year.

Visited mom last evening. She is under the care of a Physician for Parkinson's. She was having a "flare up", her entire body was in pain. Sit, lean, lay down pillows, no pillow, heating pad, vibrator, nothing help her to get comfortable. She could say one or two words then she'd have to re-catch her breath and get her mental control back before speaking a few more words.

When I got up to leave she wanted to tell me one more thing. She wanted me to pray for each of my co-workers every day and then reported back to her in a month of what positive changes I saw at work.
