don't know if this link will work but this is what I have. You plug it in between the plug from the chest freezer and the outlet, then you set your temp where you want it ( like 45 degrees or so, fridge temp) and put the little metal probe inside the chest freezer . It will keep the freezer from turning on until the temp gets that high, so you can use it as fridge. Heat rises, so a chest freezer fridge uses much much less energy than a regular fridge. This makes it easy to use a relatively small solar backup system, since the regular fridge needs lots of energy to start up , this doesn't.
I am up barely didn't sleep well last night.

Reading forums, drinking coffee right now.
Gather all the trash up as I came through the apartment this morning.
It's outside now in the trashcan.
Will be water bathing sweet and tart cherry pie filling sometime today.
Making homemade noodles and hang them up to dry for a bit.
But definely need coffee first.

Last full day at the campground. Turn colder overnight. 40s for highs. I gotta run out and get a part for my tractor, but otherwise just hanging out here and getting loaded up where all we have to do is hook up in the morning.
I appreciate this but this isnt a good idea actually for two reasons..
1. I would have to be specific and state my home address and work address. So, I basically give away where I live n work to someone that I'm hoping has not figured this out yet.
2. This person is a registered sex offender. He already has to wear a ankle monitor. Whenever he has violated parole or not wanted to be monitored in the past, he cuts off his monitor and throws it away.
He will not honor a peice of paper anymore than he honors the ankle monitor.
If he happens to find out where I am and gets stupid, I can utilize the opportunity that he will just..disappear..forever..
I got my boneyard mowed yesterday! Had a nice chat with my friend on the phone too..its been awhile..I'm ready for coffee!

I Agree, but, having a Restraining Order against them will give You an Opportunity to Blast them if they decide to get too Close... Shoot 1st, Ask ?'s later...!!! Keep a Knife near by w/o Your Finger Prints on it just in case...

Had to get up early to take wife to jury duty.
Then had dental cleaning.
Not a fun morning!
The pups are crazy, missing my wife. This is the first time the wife has been gone all day, since we got them. Both pups are totally confused. And they will go bat-**** crazy when they see her.
Other than that, my day is a big snooze.

Rearranged trays in the greenhouse so I could a new tray of tomatoes. Hoping the seeds from 2022 and kept in freezer are still viable. Easy day.

Went to the tractor dealer and got some filters and parts. Came back to camp and had a fire for a while till it got too windy. Let that burn out. Wife is gettin stuff inside put away and organized. I loaded up all the stuff out side and put the hitch in. Pretty much ready to hook up and pull out in the morning. Had a great trip and were coming back for some more days in April.

I'm connecting the new solar panel to the chicken coop today. I'll have one light in the coop and one in the feed room. Even without sun, a 12 volt deep cycle battery will run these lights for days. The panel is 110 watts and I'm installing a 300 watt inverter. The led lights only use about 20 watts each.
You were able to speak before coffee? How do you do that?

I had a big male that would sit on the windowsill and knock on the glass with his paw, figured it out by himself, he taught an other one to do it too, it was pretty neat, they are both gone now.

Doc appt for husband in the bigger town, then lab work, then xray. I went into Aldi afterwards for their butter sale, can only get 6. I'll go back tomorrow for my regular shopping and get 6 more before the sale ends. $2.69 is a good price. Pharmacy line in town for husband's stuff took forever. Stopped in at DG for their $1.00 knockoff neosporin. They don't have that anymore, now it's $2.85. Not much on their shelves at all in the dollar section. But got some more anyway and more band aid brand bandaids. Noticed I needed more of both when I cleaned out the med shelves.
Our butter is still $5/lb.

I stock up and put it in the freezer when it's on sale like this. The only time I buy butter, won't pay $5 a lb. That's what it is normally here, too. So 6lbs today, 6 lbs tomorrow, and I still have some frozen from the last sale. Waiting for a good olive oil sale, but I won't hold my breath.
Have to say thank you. You prompted me to do a search and our restaurant store is having a case sale $3.33/lb. Guess I'll be stopping by for a case in the morning
My goodness.. that'll teach me to be away from the forum for a few days.. It took me FOR-EVER to catch up! LOL.. chatty crowd!

Drove home from Spokane. Washed and waxed the trailer.
We are leaving for our trip on March 26th.
Heading South then East.
We'll eventually get to Missouri where our Grandson lives.
We'll be gone about 3 months.
I may pass by a few of you. It would be fun to visit.

My coffee pot is always on for friends and family.
That was wild… heard my gsd go full alert on something. I grabbed a light then went out. Just as I stepped off the porch and I turned it on. Found myself facing a solid black german sheppard that was bigger than sam! And it was coming directly at me!!!! 
Took a second to realize it was an old, possibly injured dog that was wearing a collar. Sam wasn’t having any of this!!!! After some effort I got him in the house then…
I didn’t have to yell, just made it clear the dog wasn’t welcome. I ‘escorted’ the big black to the road. I don’t think it was injured. Just hip issues like many old sheppards… But he needed to be on his way home or both dogs might get injured.
Didn’t get a lot done today, made a few calls, need a solenoid for the starter on the big tractor. Sold the cattle in ‘18, still repairing equipment...
