I thought of you!!Glad you're praising your washer. I just did a "load". 120 manual turns. The pup thought I was nuts. I did 2 pairs of leggings, 2 slips, and 1 skirt. That is one load. Now on a rack near the woodburner.

Yeah I was kind of thinking the same thing. They were $40 for the pair so they're not too expensive. If they're any good I'll buy a few more. I need to keep one in the battery room to check the water level in the batteries and one in every vehicle. We're talking commercial aircraft landing light category there. Must be "Chinese lumens". One would be lucky to get 900 lumens out of a $25 flashlight, and even if the $25 flashlight managed that (more expensive flashlights certainly can), it would no doubt step down in brightness after only a few seconds. These may be decent flashlights, but that lumen rating is either a typo, or the boldest most ridiculous claim to ever come out of China. A small handheld flashlight putting out lumens like that - one, it's impossible with current technology - but two, if it did, the battery would probably last about 500 milliseconds. And you could drop the exhausted flashlight in a bucket of water and it would boil instantly.
That being said, even 900 lumens is more than anyone would need for normal things. You might want more for long range spotlight applications. But that does not come without huge battery requirements and big heat problems.
Enjoy the game and get some rest.Grumble…. Family stuff going on. Got mom moved to the rehab facility today. I had to drive her there myself. Came home and messed with the cows a bit. 2nd night below 20f on the way, running lots of gas heat. The house got so dry I had to find the humidifier. Took a while, stuffed in a box in the storage rm, don't think I used it last year. Anyway, got it going, still runs so I don’t have to buy another one.
Watching a ballgame on tv.
The description on Amazon for the things certainly ticks all the boxes (well, except for the lumen rating). I would be interested to hear if they're any good. As if I need another flashlight...If they're any good I'll buy a few more.
Life is good! What better way to spend your time? All of this, for me anyway, means carrying shopping bags while day drinking.
First dance, how awesome!! Looking forward to details!!Animal chores done, pots in green houses readied for seeding for spinach tomorrow. Little granddaughter and I wagoned up firewood to restock the two porch racks. No fire today, going to hit 60 degrees hooray! She cleaned out woodburner and restocked it all inside. Getting ready to go dig out Christmas boxes...lights and ornaments from the big storage building. Getting a tree at Home Depot in the bigger town this afternoon. Little granddaughter has her first middle school dance this evening. She's going to want to do alot of primping and getting ready.
I'm cleaning both coffee pots (in the house) right now citric acid! I have 1 Tsp going through my Keurig, 2 Tsp through Hubby's coffee pot! I did the one in his shop last week! It works great!!I finally got around to de-scaling the coffee maker. Our Keurig starts to nag you about de-scaling every three months. Which is way more than you need, especially here where we have very hard water. I think Keurig just wants to sell you more of their expensive de-scaling solution. But I just use citric acid powder mixed with water. That de-scales just as well, leaves no smell or taste like vinegar, and you know what it is as opposed to those "de-scaling solutions" which contain who-knows-what.
I set an alarm to de-scale again in 6 months (this time I made it a repeating alarm).
My BIL lives in town and that's what it looks like at his place too. We're usually above the fog here at 5,000 ft elevation.Burr...I'm not looking forward to the pup walk..
I may have to try it with less citric acid if that's all you are using with good results.I have 1 Tsp going through my Keurig, 2 Tsp through Hubby's coffee pot
I stir 1 Tbs in the Keurig full reservoir, run it through large cup by large cup, followed by 2 more reservoirs. The coffee pot gets 2 Tbs in a full pot of water, run through, follow with 2-4 more pots! We have very hard (awesomely healthy) water! I do that every 6 weeks!I may have to try it with less citric acid if that's all you are using with good results.
I just mixed two quarts of water with four tablespoons of citric acid powder to nearly fill the external reservoir, and ran that through the Keurig. Followed by another two quarts of plain water for rinse. The de-scaling mode (per the users manual) wants you to fill the resevoir for each operation. I had written on my citric acid bag "1 to 2 Tbsp per quart". I don't know where I came up with that. Probably a Google search long ago. But that's what I had written on the bag so that's what I used. It appears to work well, but maybe I can get by using far less. Maybe I'll experiment next time. Alhough how do you know if you got a good de-scaling or not - we don't have problems we're specifically addressing when we de-scale, we just de-scale on a schedule (more or less!)
No Vodka ....Went to the liquor store ... needed to replace some bourbon / scotch /whiskey.
Of course the wife groaned about my having too much already. So I again took pics of my stash:

Already have a giant bottle of StoliNo Vodka ....
We've got about 1/6 of that amount. Got it at the duty free shop coming back from St. Thomas. On our honeymoon. In 1982. We might actually open one of the bottles at some point.Went to the liquor store ... needed to replace some bourbon / scotch /whiskey.

It all started with me when I moved here to Texas. Two neighbors met regularly for Whiskey/Scotch/Bourbon and cigars. So I joined them, and had to have a few bottles in my stash for that. Tried to find brands they did not usually buy. Sadly, both eventually moved away ... one to France, one to the other end of the neighborhood. (Did I do that??!!!)We've got about 1/6 of that amount. I am coming back.@MoBookworm1957 sure do wish you were popping in here more!
@sonya123 wish we could see your boy goats riding along on the Ranger!
