I've got bronchitis. gave me a shot and antibiotics. Hopefully I'll be better in a day or so. Up date on nephew: he is goiong to have some more of his finger taken off. Doc said it wasn't healing like it should be . BROTHER said he feels better than he has in a long time.

One more day and then I get to leave KKKommiefornia and go back home to the (relatively) free state of Iowa. There's still more work to do though, so I'll be going back and forth to California until May...
Me to. It stinks. I have apparently developed a sensitivity to something in cough syrups. Since I had the pneumonia cough syrup causes insomnia.

I am knocking on wood. I get a virus or a cold once in a while, but haven't been seriously ill in a few years. Knock on wood.

We've had a number of students out with what seems to be flu symptoms, and then a secondary respiratory infection. One child was hospitalized last week with RSV. Our attendance has been low the last few weeks, but starting picking up today.

RSV is weird, scary. Our little grandkids had it. Once in a while when I'm out I'll see someone with a mask on, protecting themselves perhaps.
@Terri9630 and @timmie get better soon and try and relax and take it easy where you can. @Terri9630 your daughter is sounding like she is doing a good job monitoring you and do let me know what you think of the brownie mix and the things you will make out of it when you are better.
Today was our weekly house deep clean day. DH vacuumed the whole house carpets and vinyl flooring and I deep cleaned both bathrooms and toilets. We did one load of washing each and used the grey water to water the potted plants at the side of the house along with a little town water.
Just finished bringing in two loads of washing and DH washed the dishes and cleaned the benches and I wiped them and put them away and we then stripped the bed and remade it with fresh sheets and I put the sheets and towels and the rest of the washing in the washing machine ready for tomorrow.
Tonight's dinner is fish fillets and steamed vegetables and dessert will be tinned fruit and cream left over from our pancakes from last night.

She is an excellent "prison" guard! Won't even let me feed the dogs. I will definately let y'all know how the brownies turn out.
Been sewing up 4 patch squares made into 3 inch blocks and 2 inch squares into 3 inch blocks for quilt top called "Pops of Color".
Interesting pattern, haven't made it before.
Trying to give it a chance but it has a lot of negative space to rest your eyes.
But the pops of color are bright.
No playdate today, too slick.
Don't have all the ingredients for home made mix but will by next week.
My car comes home tonight.
Meetings of organizations I belong to have been cancelled. Too slick.
Have to see about next week meeting, next Thursday.
Finals have been cancelled on campus, weather is the reason.
Online classes so far is still a go.
At least till Professors decide any way.

Picked up my package at the post office this morning. Everything fits great. Love the colors ( turqouise, caribbean blue, sweet mint,ivory snowflake)

Did my primary shopping for the month yesterday.so today.I'm taking it easy.drank coffee. Made dark chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.first peice of warm n frosted cake is a nice comfort food on cold days

Haven't seen the animals in 4 days cause my jailer won't let me outside.

I can't stand to be cooped up. She said I wear myself out worrying about her health so now its her turn. The little stinker took my shoes!!!

SHHHHH. She might hear you! I already hid the pizza peal, it looks like a paddle.Let her know.that i have a home made paddle if she wants to borrow it.
Don't give her any ideas! She's great. Both the kids are but she's still at home to fuss. She's been sick her whole life so we spend lots of time together.
I am seeing a lot more RSV than usual this year- and I am seeing it affect adults! We've had 3 adults, none of them elderly and all with respiratory failure from their RSV.
I heard there were school closings in NC because of the flu or RSV I don't know which. It's almost that bad here in Bama. Closing schools is being discussed, was on the local news tonight.

A lot of our schools around the area, 6-10 counties shut down Wed for the rest of the week due to illness. I haven't heard about RSV around here, I think it's mostly just the flu.
Schools are closed for weather here.

Flu is terrible here. Surprises me because of the insane push here to get a flu shot. Seems like everyone had one. Now everyone has the flu.
That's why I never get the shot.
