I think you all are right, I was on my Feet all day Sunday into the Evening Canning, so I must have pulled or Strained something, I know that my Feet and Legs where pretty tired. I'm not able to take Aspirin, but I take Tylenol which helps a bit. It's bad when you get to that Age where even your Hair hurts.

That standing and over doing it seems to get mien going too Camo, Hard ot find the happy medium. See if you can find something that fights inflamation, that works for me.Sorry your havign a bad time ,mine was last two weeks.
I watched a lot of 'Person Of Interest ' again, lol. One good thing about age is you forget most recent things you watched. So we watched reruns.

I'll try and keep this short. My apologies if it goes to long.
I've had a very bust time at work the last 3 months leading up to the end of September which is the end of fiscal year. All the departments think they have to spend everything in their budget. We had so many projects underway I was struggling to keep up. But we have completed 4 big ones and have 2 more that will finish up next week. Most of the work on them is already done. Yesterday I had set up one of our vendors that we purchased in essance a radio repeater to allow primarily our fire department to communicate outside the building we were working on. They came to the lab and working with my crew and I did surveys with a spectrum analyzer at many locations on 3 floor of the building to start with to determine the dead areas. Then we installed one antenna and tuened on the bi-directional amp, then went back to each spot again and did the same readings. On one floor they doubled, lower floor went up 20%. Then we put in the antenna on the first floor and took the same readings. The worst had doubled, some tripled in signal strength. Using the radios at these same location, we were able to hit the external repeater in every location. I expected to spend most of today working on this too, but things went so well yesterday we finished up then. This project was a big deal to the lab, lots of eyes were watching it. So I am thrilled to have that one down. Did find out Wednesday that I'm gonna have another one of these far another factility to complete for next FY. Good thing with it I've got the entire year to make it happen instead of 2 months with 6 weeks waiting for the heart of the system.Down side this facility is very limited access and has lots of comtamination to deal with.
I appreceiate you folks listening to my rants at times bitching about the crap I was dealing with. I can actually breathe a little again.
No problem

Finished rearranging the last kitchen cabinet more or less.
Onward to the drawers looking for stability parts for the cart in the bathroom.
Also when I get bored, then I have tendency to get my self into trouble.
Hence why I clean a lot, but I actually like cleaning too.
Still got to fold up the last load of laundry and put it away.
Sitting here at the computer desk, reading forums and crocheting yet another blanket.
Someone blessed me with 2 more bags of yarn for more blankets, left on my porch during the first storm last night.
No Name, no card, no note, no nothing so I don't know who to thank.
So have spent part of the morning rolling the skeins into balls.
Drinking coffee, taking Strawberry outside to take care of business.
Not only did the leave me 2 bags of yarn, they left finished blocks all is left to do on those is crochet borders around them.
They left enough finished blocks to make 4 blankets.
So I will use the finished blocks as corner stone on the crochet blankets for something different instead of just stripes.
Supposed to storm all weekend.
My son's desk top is trying to die.
Took awhile for it to start this morning, it had a black screen for quite a while, so when it completely dies I will be off line for a few days.
Got a new laptop on Layaway at Wal-Mart. but atlas it's not completely paid for yet.

We are in a drought now and under fire danger. So lots of waterign and watching in store for us.

The mountain peaks around us have visible snow now. It will take some weeks to a month or more before it gets down to the valley and stays. According to the “experts” we are going to have an early harsh winter .... or no snow will stay until after Christmas. We are going to have the most snow on record or might have to worry about drought in the Spring. We have had our first light frost overnight.

It only comes once a year, unless you are born on Feb. 29. :)

That is what I expected, some not real answer! It was worth asking. :p

I will tell you this. I was born in a defunct Catholic hospital on an Indian reservation by a retired MD and the last two Nun's who were left behind to finalize the hospital closure. My Dad slept in the lobby in his State Trooper uniform and my uncle sat in a chair outside by the front door in his Deputy Sheriff's uniform. The Nun's refused to allow a man who was not a Dr into the delivery room and refused to let my Uncle smoke inside. Once I was born and my Mom was cleaned up, we were put in the back seat of a patrol car and driven 70 miles to the next available hospital.

So, you started out giving your folks a hard time from the time you were born. ;)

My pediatrician's office burned down as did the hospital I was born in. Not my fault! LOL

Another relaxing day. Cooked all the sweet potatoes from the garden in the instant pot in a few batches. Wanted them all done and will freeze some. Hard boiled some eggs and made some sugar free brownies. Going to water the garden--what's left-- in a bit and then wait to put up the goats.

Bought this today just to see...
Not impressed. You gotta coat each one with oil, then boil 16 minutes.
They come out easy , hard boiled, but look funny. PIA.

I doubt I'll use it again.

My in-laws love 'em.
Like me, you probably wondered why go thru all that trouble?
I found out real quick:eek:.
They buy really-really-fresh eggs. These are the kind that if you hard-boil them, they are impossible to peel.
The shell sticks to the eggs so bad that when you peel them, half of the egg ends up in the trash, still stuck to the shell:mad:. (we've all done that)
Those contraptions fix that problem.

I fix that problem by not eating hard boiled eggs...:D

I usually hard boil older eggs, but I find if I start eggs in cold water with vinegar, and slowly bring them up to boiling, it works the best for peeling. I have had a few older eggs that didn't do so well with being peeled, before I started the slow heat up.

Your right, I did forget to mention that.
The eggs come out just fine. They are flat across the top. and are dimpled a lot, which doesn't hurt the egg , just look funny.

It is extra time and work to oil each one, screw on the caps, bring water to a roll , drop it in and wait 16 minutes ...too long. Then squeeze them out. Then wash everything up for next time , as they have oil in them

Oh well , I'll just drop the eggs in boiling water 6 min and peel.

I wish I could remember the trick to making them peel easy.

Pin prick in small end....?:dunno:

I have a week off of watching grand daughter.
Just found out a bit ago.
Wahoo!
Seems grand daughter's daddy( oldest son) took a week off.
He didn't tell anybody, but grand daughter.
Whom doesn't talk clearly half the time.
Also am loaning him my car for several days so he and grand daughter can go do things together.
Also found out a bit ago my ex husband is also in town.
Whoopee!
Still having thunderstorms here, been raining all day.
Suppose to rain tomorrow too.
Hence why I don't mind loaning oldest son my car.
Besides he fills it up when he borrows it.

Thurs when home health was out, Grannys O2 level fluctuated between 82-90. Sat morning when they came back out it was between 58-68. . . Dangerously low. She was transported straight to the hospital where she was put immediately on oxygen. Many test run. She has some heart failure, fluid on the lungs and possibly around the heart. Yesterday morning when I got her up she was dizzy when sitting up, which is not unusual for her periodically. I took her in the bathroom for potty and shower, but she seemed more out of breath just standing, turning around and sitting down on the toilet I skipped the shower and took her for coffee and breakfast. She only ate about half of the two waffles given, which normally eat all because of her sweet tooth, and none of the sausage. She said she was nausiated. She was still speaking as clearly as she normally does. A little after that was her visit from home health.

at the hospital, she was also low in potsium, which she does take a supplement everyday, so not sure how that could happen and we eat a lot of potatoes. There was a time that she had fallen asleep, also not unusual, but she was hard to arouse. That was. We came home last night but are going back to the hospital this morning. We were able to see a doctor twice yesterday, one almost at arrival and a different one who told us what was going on and being admitted. Today I have several questions that I didn't think about asking yesterday.

Hunny called his brother to let him know. He was about to get on a plane in FL to come back to TX. He spent a week at Disney World. I don't know if he plans on driving in now that he is back home. He didn't say. The boys know and are driving in today to visit Granny at the hospital. I am scheduled for inventory tonight, but I called and talked to my boss last night to let her know what is going on. If Granny is stable, I'll go, if not, I will stay at the hospital.

I needed a break, but not like this. . .

Today DH started off the morning with vacuuming the home, we had lunch and went to bingo at the RSL club. We do this once a month to help the club and DH and I set up the snacks and DH usually hands out the winning money to each person. Today the caller was sick so DH took over the calling and the RSL President handing out the bingo prize money. DH has never called bingo in his life and I was worried it would stress him but he did a mighty job I must say and we are glad to give service to a worthwhile club who helps so many in the community.

The CWA had a welfare drive and was handing out bottled water to those who needed it in our town with little or no rainwater in their household tanks. There was a stack left that no-one took so they gave it to the RSL club to distribute the rest. Since we knew most of the people in real need had taken theirs we bought home 2 cartons of 20 x 600 ml bottles of spring water to add to our food storage room. There was still a lot of cartons left when we left so I think people are not planning too far ahead in their households for this drought to continue.

As we had munchies and sausage sandwiches down at the club we called that dinner and didn't cook.
