How's the sore ribs doing?Just crocheting Christmas blankets.
No TV, No radio on, just silence besides Strawberry's snoring.
Rainy 37* here.
Nice quite day.

You gotta take it easy for awhile.

They are sore.
My shoulder is turning nice shades of black, blue, green and purple bruises today.
I expect my ribs will be doing that in the future.
Spent the day outside. Cut some honeysuckle out that had came up in my grapes. Not done with that yet. Got the little Sthil 180 chain saw out and cut down a bunch of tree sprigs around different places. Had a small maple come up next to the shop, Cut it down mostly. Left enough stump that I can hook the tractor to it and drag it out. Don't want it coming back up. Rotated thru 20 gallons of fuel in the truck. Got 30 more to go.
This is the most I've had the energy to do since December. It took it out of me and I don't feel like I got much done. But I guess it's gonna take time. Glad I got to do what I did.
Beware!!! Here they come!......I'm in Sportsman's Warehouse in Pueblo right now. The jacka$$es here in Colorado are panic buying guns and ammo now. The store is restricting ammo purchases.
Sigh...
I know not good on grapes but I like the smell of honeysuckles. Good to know your able to work BackP hope your not too sore.

Honeysuckle is an invasive species in Vermont. I saw a note from the state Fish & Wildlife Dept. that they were in the process of clearing several acres of it and planting a couple native species that a bird they're hoping to bring back likes to nest in. Going by your description though, honeysuckle may be as persistent as raspberry bramble.

IMO Honeysuckle is worse than Raspberries. It's about as close to Kudzo around here as anything.

So Jake asked me if he could go to one of those trampoline places this evening. It was kind of strange to me because he never asks to go any place like that it's usually the closest Army surplus or someplace like that. When we were talking about it he told me a girl he was sweet on was going to be there. Now his mother had a different attitude about it than I did, she was worried about the virus going around and everything she could think of to keep her little boy at home but, with a little help with me we soon had her on board with us only to find out the girls mother was worried about the same thing and the girl was not going to get to go either. So I saw Jake was disappointed and asked him what would be something fun he would like to do instead he told me it would be fun to shoot some pistols. He picked out a couple of Rugers a 9 and a 22. he has been taught to clean the guns after he uses them. View attachment 37075
