I've slept most of the day. I'm sick.

I'm still alive. I think..

I hope it was a short sickness, @Terri9630 and you're feeling a little better today, if not completely better.
Its lasting way to long for me. I've slept most of the week.

Summer sicknesses are worse, IMO, than winter time sicknesses.
I think so too. Its been awful.

Hope you get well fast Terri. :)
I hope you feel better soon, Terri

Thanks y'all....

bread from Texas Roadhouse
I have copycat recipes for the rolls and butter. I can find them for you when I feel a bit better.

Yardwork, yesterday and today. Found where a couple of broken wheelbarrows were hiding and put them out on the road for free. Not worth moving. Free stuff that went away this week: a tiki man statue, a sandbox, a tall wooden planter, and a broken dishwasher. Need to put out the grill that's not working right. Too hot for yardwork, now. Will be putzing in the garage.
I don't know about anyone else, but when it comes to wheelbarrows, the tires are a big challenge. I finally replaced the tire on mine with a hard one. No more flat tires.

Noo! I haven't been anywhere. My Doc just called to check on me and she thinks I caught what made the calf I was bottle feeding sick.
OMG, Terri! Will you be taking medication or will it just process itself through?

@Amish, please tell hubby congratulations from me! Now he is on to being a Kansas farmer!

Got the floor scrubber out and did a deep clean on kitchen floor.
Floor was sticky, grubby from my little helper yesterday.
Floor was sticky, grubby just like I purposely sent grand daughter home(back to her mom's).
This way big sister knows we had fun.
We cooked several times, cleaned of sorts several times.
Granny sat on upside down 5 gallon bucket and played in the dirt with her, with cars.
Looks like storm clouds are rolling in, better go close my sunroof on my car.
Got the windows up just in time.
It's been 90* plus here all day.
Wind is picking up, thunder temperature feels like it dropped 20*.

@Amish Heart tell husband congratulations on his retirement and it will take him a while to get into the routine of not going to work. Wish the twins a happy belated birthday too from me :) .

@Terri9630 hope you start feeling better soon there is nothing worse than feeling sick.

@Weedygarden we did the same thing with our wheelbarrow and replaced the wheel with a solid wider wheel which makes it far more stable with loads in it and easier to push. The wheel was not made for our wheelbarrow so we did some minor adjustments and we love it and so much easier to push now and also we were sick of replacing wheelbarrow tyre flats.

Its been over a week so Docs sending in a prescription for an anti viral and anti nausea med for me. If that doesn't help then I have to go in.

Both dogs gone home! I walked a dog at noon today and the heat was intense. I went to the hardware store in that area and found buckets and lids. I already had a bucket without a lid and bought another bucket and lid. I forgot to look for half gallon jars.

Got the wheels off the trailer and took them to get new rubber. The place has to order the tires. I asked about what it would take to get a spare, because that is how I operate. I would never want to be driving down the road and get a flat on this. The trailer would have to sit there for maybe a day or more in order to get a tire replaced. Now I want to get an extra jack and tire iron just for the trailer. Yes the car will always have one that could work. I just want a set up for the trailer. One challenge with this trailer is that it has smaller wheels and even using a jack and tire iron is difficult. I am working on getting it all figured out. On the to-do list is to repaint the trailer, make sure the lights are working and replacing some hardware.

I had to do some adjustments as well for the new wheel for my wheelbarrow. It has been a good thing to replace that wheel!

It started out with that original tire being fine for the first year. It needed to be filled up every time I used it for a couple years after that. Then it was just rotten. That is not how I like to deal with stuff. I just want it to be good for a long time, years. I think of being prepared. Imagine when we would need something like that and it would be flat. No bueno!

Exactly @Weedygarden and there is nothing that frustrates me more than equipment that doesn't work when you need it as it has in my opinion a manufacturing flaw in it that makes the tyre go down or the tube to puncture all the time.

We fixed ours with $1 piece of pipe from the metal place and some washers so for under $2 it is much better and the tyre fits. The bore size was larger in the new wheelbarrow tyre.

A very busy day and catching up with kids on their trip. Espcially the one daughter who for fist time in a few ywers had 11 whole days without her 4 grands and especially the 3 she has custody over past 10 months.
First time our 3 kids took a cacation together in decades. They see each other often like Thankjgiving.Son lives in Texas and his sisters really love thei brother. They live in Ga so see each other all the time.
Today was first time we have been in a grocery store since March 3nd. It was good to be back among the living.
Went to Home Depot for mower had to have a lawn mower because tics love high grass and are really bad this year. Just getting in the van hubby got a tic off him.
Took forever to get mower and attachments. People are really strange acting now and uptight.
A couple about my age broke in line so I told them I'm next in line and stepped up in front of them, rude nuts :waiting:.I had been outside in hoy humid lot looking at mowers for over an hour wasn't in mood for BS. But it ended ok and Lawn mower barly fit in my van so we had to rearange bed, potty, cooler, storage drawers, etc, etc, etc, to move and so it was stacked to the ceiling.and floor was packed too,I had to ride home with legs almost over my head. But it was a fun trip.Got home and unloaded most of grocery, but mower we will have to back up utility trailer to van ,put down trailer ramp then roll mower onto trailer . Pulaway from van let ramp down and drive mower off trailer. No strain no pain.

Tinkered in garage with Vette this morning ..replaced all the lug nuts...they were ugly.

Then lunch at Black Patch Grill in Princeton, then stopped at Walmart for some coffee and milk.
Came home and tilled the beans and peas, and watered the cantelopes and watermelons. Of course spent time running the mutt.

Tomorrow is gonna be busy , leaving at 9am for VA in Marion Illinois.(1 1/2hr)
Defibalater interagation , to try an figure out what rythym my heart was in when the tachycardia happened. I guess that will tell them more about what happened and what can prevent it.

Gotta stop at hospital on the way home for more lab work, with new meds .

Then go to Home Depot for flooring, new toilet, and paint for our main bathroom.

Hope I get to eat some where ,. Sometime during the day.

Then get on home.

Whewww...long day tomorrow.

Jim

was up at 4am to start my morning of just waking up. with coffee, then feeding. We had to be at the hospital by 7 am for hunny's check in and his surgery was supposed to have started at 9 but it was more like 10am. He was out by 1140 and according to the doctor was perfect. I am very hopeful. We ended up in a room a little after 1 so he got to eat a lunch of sausage with rice and sauteed mushrooms, zucchini, and squash. . Guess what I got to eat off his plate. But it came under the last patient name. Hunny was very awake compared to his surgery in the big city, so that was nice. Last time he was very hard to wake up . . . even after hours after. I did leave him at about 330 so I could make the drive home to let dogs out and do evening feeding of goats and cows to go back but picked up dinner for him on my way. . . lets face it, hospital food sucks. It is my birthday so thought fried shrimp and fish which is one of his favorites. When I started the Expedition up, it made a noise. . . Then the driver side window didn't work along with the radio and A/C and everything along that area.. . .It may just be a relay but I went back home to pick up my truck. At the hospital, they ask you questions at first arrival then take your temp. , , If you leave after the intentional check in, they take your temp. I had to leave to do evening feeding even though it was early. Even after I got home garden needed watered, cows checked, 1 goat medicated and dogs fed. It was almost 930 by the time I was done, . . . Getting up at 4 am to start waking up, feeding for both of us and getting to town by 7 am when the hospital starts letting people in again.

Happy Belated Birthday, Dani!

We were going to lunch today for 30th anniversary, but decided not to with DH being high risk. I will be going to town to pick up my lab results from last week's blood work, Walmart for a couple of things, day old bread store for my low calorie bread, thrift store and then pick up pizza on the way home.

As of now, will go for walk when I quit messing around here and get the day started.

@snappy1 happy anniversary!
@Amish Heart it seemed like I had to give up on preparing meals when our home was on the market. I forgot about a showing one time and they got to see us sitting at the kitchen table, messy kitchen, haha. They were only 3 hrs late.
