Moved the bird seed out of the car and into the bird seed can, filled the bird feeder. Filled the chicken feeders, fixed a gate (After I find the right screws in the multi dimensional junk can). Dumped and refilled the dog pool, and ordered parts to fix all the hoses that got Schiffed over the winter.

Deflated the air mattresses in the small spare bedroom the g-kids slept in.
Managed to refold the air mattresses so they would fit back into their boxes.
Carry the air mattress boxes to basement to store for the next time.
Flip the mattress and box springs off the full-size bed in the bigger spare bedroom.
Remove headboard from frame.
Move frame and headboard to the small spare bedroom and reattached the head board.
Slide the box springs across the carpet to the small spare bedroom and flip onto the frame.
Slide the mattress across the carpet to the small spare bedroom, flip on the top of the mattress hitting the ceiling fan in the process.
Garage to get the small step ladder to replace the ceiling fan light bulb that didn't like getting hit with a mattress.
Test ceiling fan. Light works but fan is now terrible off balance. One of the blades is cocked-eyed because a screw is missing.
Find the fan blade screw and lock washer on the floor.
Fan blade screw is just a bit too short to catch any threads. Removing the lock washer fixed that problem. Fan is balanced.
Checked the rest of the fan blades screws for tightness.
Put the step ladder away.
Now the spare bedrooms are back in order so they wife can refill them with her stuff that was stored temporarily at her sisters, friends and my garage.

My Class B RV has three 12 VDC ceiling florescent light fixtures. Each fixture draws 20 watts. My LED replacements arrived yesterday.
Remove the three light fixtures from the RV and take them to my basement work bench.
Remove the ballasts from the fixtures, cut, snip, twist wires, solder and heat shrink. Now they are converted to 12 VDV LED without ballast.
Reinstall the fixtures on the RV celling. Install the LED tubes in the fixtures. Flip the power switch on and..........they work!
New LED lights draw 11 watts per fixture. A savings of 9 watts each or a total 27 watts. Coach lead acid batteries will last a little longer.

Strawberry has been walked twice already.
Got plums blanched.
Pineapple and blueberries going in dehydrator already this morning.
Got green beans snapped from my brother's garden along with a potato going in the crockpot.
Will add sliced mushrooms and onions in a bit.
Got peaches simmering on the stove.
Those either will become peach cobbler or spiced peaches in pint canning jars for later use.
Added green beans to soup.
Sipping coffee, resting for a bit.
Will just have to cook some kind of meat for the week.
Good eating here this week..
Got a dab of dishes to do up.
This is date night too.
Will be trying my hand at plum jelly today too.

We are canning green beans today,

I just took down the ceiling light fixture in our remodeled bathroom.
Gotta replace it with a nicer one.

@The Lazy L , see , it never ends.
Just ordered shower curtains new window curtain.
Looking for a small decorative shelf towel hanger to match.

Weeks, and it's still going.
She wants all charcoal throw rugs, and towels.

Doctors visit wasn't really great.
They may up my pacemaker from 40 bps to 60 BP's.
Kidney #s were elevated.
Now I'm stage 3A, kidney failure, which is mild stage, they say this is all connected to heart failure.
Go back in 3 months, for new labs and doctor visit.

What happens when you have a dog named Strawberry, a dehydrator tray full of blueberries and the phone rings?
Strawberry hit me just right behind the left knee, blueberries went flying.
Got the phone answered it was my dad.
Strawberry goes to kennel without being told, head low, tail tucked.
I take off go to dad's, by the way I didn't know I could lay rubber in a Fiat.
Blueberries mess will be here when I get back.
I'm home now.
Strawberry is laying low.
I'm cleaning up blueberries.
Save what I could.
Blueberries, peaches and plums are now simmering on the stove.
Don't know what it will end up as but some days you should just stay in bed.
This was mine.
Will get floor scrubber machine out to get the blueberries off the floor.
Maybe tomorrow this will be funny, but right now I just want to sit down and cry.

Hope your day is getting better Mo!

Walked this morning, then started laundry, gave dogs their flea meds, cut up more cheese for extra treats this weekend (for extra dogs). Labeled the rotel tomatoes, removed bands and put away (only one pint did not seal).

Then, weed eated part of my garden that is over. Sometimes, it gets to the point where the weeds just win. Still need to prune tomato plants and fertilize. Maybe I can get another round out of them.

so far I'm taking the day off, after all it's the second Saturday this week.
I'll do a little painting as the sun sets.

I used to be tired, I stopped working for a paycheck and got real tired of all the work I was doing, so I am REtired. ;)

Also had dentist appointment, but only my semi-annual cleaning.
Tried to shill me on some $20 a tube prescription fluoride toothpaste.
I declined and the dentist asks "Are you anti-Fluoride?"
I said, "No, I'm anti $20 tubes of toothpaste."

Then stopped by my office to pick up my desktop computer.
Since I'm going to be working from home until some time next year, I need my workhorse computer to be productive.
Was nice seeing some of the people I haven't seen since Mid-March.

I'm trying to focus but I've got a wicked headache that just started. Think it's sinuses. I keep forgetting to call the Dr's office to ask for a scrip for antibiotics. Been having symptoms of a dental abscess & due to my prolapsed valves I have to take antibiotics before going to the dentist. Not sure I can even get in to see one until September though.

I stayed home today, cleaned the toilet, argued with people on the internet, fed Mom, & am trying to convince her to approve a trip to Opelousas to get a new sliding glass door. Current one is very old, won't slide well & the glass is coming out of the metal frame. Thinking of getting a Reliabilt double pane w/ argon door. It's going to be a total pain to get the old one out and new one in bc blackberry bushes & a chicken tree have grown up in the way. My brother-in-law said Roundup should kill the tree (we've cut it down 3x now and it keeps growing back w/ a vengeance). Friend just got a chainsaw so hopefully he can help with removal.

The sill underneath the door is rotted so I'm going to have to do some repair, flashing, & make sure to use caulk liberally.

My Naproxyn seems to be kicking in a bit so the headache is starting to clear. Wish it lasted the full 12 hours its supposed to last.

Hope everyone's family had safe trips (I'm trying to remember who said what but brain is still foggy).

That bath turned into a job, huh? Take care Jim and praying next visit brings better dr report.

Sometimes I wonder why I get myself into the things I do. I took on one of the bigger dirt jobs Ive ever done, the roughest for sure a 100ft of elevation change on this job. The last few days in my world.

I am curious about what is happening in these videos? Are you making a new road?

This was such a hard move, I won't move again!
Busy day today. Albuquerque couldn't send a notary to the farm till tomorrow for our house closing. So tomorrow it is. Pod #6 came and we'll unload some of it tomorrow. Neighbor brought over a huge bucket of green beans. Had pizza and wine tasting at my cousins tonight. My nephew in OK left 5 bottles of homemade wine last time he was at our place. So we sampled strawberry and cranberry wine. Left cousins house with 2 dz fresh eggs, a massive head of cabbage, and a bunch of tomatoes. Had a talk with little neighbor boy about not using the middle finger when he's here. He stopped cussing, but is now using flipping people off. He is seven. I lectured him,, then fed him lunch.

From the sounds of it you and your family are his best influences. A blessing to him for sure.

Looked like a good blast but the good ones are boring for other people to watch.

Not much happening today we just puddled around and did odd jobs.

DH got on a load of washing on and hung it out and bought two clean loads in this afternoon. I cleaned/swept around the fireplace and spot cleaned the kitchen floor. Then got on a loaf of bread in the bread machine.

Tonight's dinner was rump steak and steamed homegrown sweet potatoes, carrots and silverbeet and a couple of free supermarket sample brussel sprouts and dessert was tinned two fruits and leftover cream from our pikelets the other night.

Wife went to take 2 grand daughters shopping for new outfits for school.
She been doing that for 12 years , as the oldest is a senior this year.

They will be gone ALL DAY.

Left me to fend for myself.
I said " what am I gonna eat?"
She said "fry some eggs and sausage"
I said "ok"

Guess I'll watch some TV.
For a while.
Then fry some eggs and sausage.

Still shopping for an air fryer. That will entertain me for awhile.

Jim

The blueberries, peaches and plums made the best sweet and sour sauce I have had in a very long time.
Will can it up tomorrow sometime. Maybe tonight.
Strawberry's business has been taken of outside, yard is cleaned up too.
Cleaned out the whiskey barrel where the asparagus, okra was suppose, nary a plant.
Wildflowers choked them out, so whiskey barrel has not more wild flowers.
Will have to get more okra and asparagus stock planted for next year.
Whiskey barrel has tomato plant the neighbor's grand children broke off now.
Hopefully it will survive the transplant at this late date.
Looking around online for small air fryer, just me here.
Found out today school will be starting back up here 22 August 2020.
Trust me it can't come soon enough.

I seen whats coming down, now tell me HashB ,whats coming up? This must be a heck of a project.

Cleaning my bench and setting up my press to do some reloading since ammo is as scarce as hens teeth 'round heah.

Been doing practice drills more frequently.........., but not nearly enough lol.

I'm checking out an online estate auction this afternoon. An acreage and everything on it are for sale. The owner was an elderly bachelor. There's a 3 bedroom ranch style house on 1.9 acres, and is move in ready condition. It's at $52k right now. If it stays under 60 I may jump in at the last minute. There's also a 2015 Jeep, and an all original Remington Nylon 66 that's at $140 right now.

I don't need any of this, but I want to bid! Auctions are from the devil! 😁

At least over here, that is an unheard of price for the size of house and acreage.
