The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth are a part of our family. The Princess makes references to Skexies and that ild wise woman when she sees images of Maxine Waters. My son has ensured the granddaughters know the words to "What kind of magic spell to use".

The Princess has a masters in library and information science, work in one of the largest library systems but can't help with book binding. I have a collection of

I want to try my hand at book binding but for now having binding tapes and glues will be enough. I am tired of using packing tape to fix the kids' books.

Calling it a night... Got distracted from making ISO thumb drives. I started on a chore I've avoided for a year. I've deleted 20K photo's of plants over the last couple of years, the easy ones, the ones that were obviously poor for various reasons. Tonight It took me about 6 hours to finally go through my 2 main folders that contain photos of edible or medicinal forbs. Every single photo is now labeled and filed correctly and the rest of the iffy photos have been deleted, about 3GB worth. So glad this is done. I still have the folders of trees, shrubs, vines and poisonous plants to go through but there are less than 2000 photos total... they can wait.

Watching it rain?

Waiting to see if it will rain today or not. It was supposed to rain yesterday, but only sprinkled Debating if I should water the garden or not. There is rain all around, but not raining here. But it could pour any minute. Whatever we do is wrong when it comes to the weather. Still need sawdust, running out of bedding in barn, but we still have a lot of crappy hay from last year we can use.

I am not feeling great on this blood pressure meds. My head feels funny , not quite a headache but weird. I am more tired and less motivated. Not on the list of side effects either.

We are probably going to do an indoor project today like fix the sink.

Heading to the accountant for taxes. Tried to do them myself for the first time in years since I thought they would be simple this year but I couldn't figure out the online tax program. It asked for things I didn't understand, and the way they were asking didn't match anything written on my W2's. For some reason it didn't say Box 2 or Box 5 or whatever for information off the W2, probably because that would be simple.
Depending how it goes, I should be back later. If not I will be back in a few days because it will take me that long to crawl home after cutting off an arm and a leg to send for payment.
EDIT: Very surprised at how little I owed this year. In comparison to years past it was about 1/3 of what I usually have to pay.

I have been up since 0330 hours.
Weather is being weird, unsettled.
3 loads of laundry washed, dried, put away.
Sipping coffee, reading forum.
Will be cooking today, just don't know what.
Got a dab of dishes to do.
Will need to dust out floors.
Bathroom has been steamed mopped.
Bathroom has been deep cleaned.
Still have one more latch to replace on the knitting machine.
Then it will be complete.
Will walk somewhere, kinda chilly right now, rainy, gloomy.
If I had taken the knitting machine to someone to clean and repair it would have cost minimum of $150.
Not counting parts: sponge bar $25, Needles $25.
So by learning to do it myself I saved approx $200.
Off to get more coffee, then dishes.

Went and got wifes scripts and grabbed a bite to eat. Gonna finish our taxes this afternoon
Hope your wife is doing better. We all need to stay away from those ER places (I hear they are full of sick people). Hoping you get a big refund :)

Since my wife has not been able to go to the doctors office, she has been doing much better....

Some things don't clear up on their own though Urban. I'm with you about medical care now a days but sometimes we have to take a chance.

Cleaning up an old rotted away camper and planting Colorado Blue Spruce trees along the road front. We live 2 miles from anyone else BUT Red Brick Solar is supposed to be building a solar farm on 3 sides of my property. I don't want to see or hear nor do I want all the workers to see what we have here. So I'm trying to create a hedge to block the view 3 rows of trees planted 15 feet apart in the rows and rows 10 feet apart. First 100 feet of all three rows are done. Second hundred feet of the first row has been done. Now I have to pull some scrub trees and do some more cleaning up before I can continue planting. Of course I am late as usual so the trees will probably not fill in enough until long after the workers are gone! lol Assuming the project actually happens but either way I will be glad to be screened off from whoever goes down the road. (private road that sees HUGE amounts of traffic during hunting season.)

I finished up my mom's taxes (well, kind of). I have been waiting on additional K-1 forms to complete mom's stuff, but the mailing of those evidently got hosed up after mom passed. Most I was able to get online from her accounts I had set up, but a few were resistant to discovery. So I eventually had to get a tax filling extension today. The federal extension was easy enough. Fill in a simple form online. The only problem was that they have to verify your email address by sending you an email you respond to, but they were apparently unable to send that email for me to verify. Eventually it got here though - after 6 hours - so all turned out well.

Then I did some research into how to file for an extension for mom's Colorado state taxes. That process is not terribly complicated. To get a filling extension in Colorado ... Step (1): Do not file your taxes on time. (2) Done. Really couldn't get any simpler. I wonder why they even have a deadline?

Darn, felt great about finally finishing the task of going through all my medicinal and edible forb photos. I stayed up until 2am deleting bad photos, correctly naming and sorting the good photos. Then an hour ago I find 3 years worth of photos I had misplaced...

Well...BUGGER!! The spark plug and lead change didn't fix the issue of my BuzzBox misfiring and having hesitancy and stalling while under load.
I took it out yesterday to go to an appointment and it did it again.
*SIGH*
Well I guess the spark plugs and leads needed changing anyway and I learned something new.
It looks like this is going to be a process of elimination and so I can now cross spark plugs and leads off the list.
Looking for that silver lining and the positive in this situation.
Next is adding a injector cleaner to the next tank of high end, higher octane premium unleaded fuel and take it out for a road trip and give it plently of stick and see if giving the injectors a good clean and workout will fix it.
Then I'm looking at swapping out vacuum hoses to see if it's a vacuum leak.
I looked at a possible fuel filter/ pump issue and I when into how to change them...WOW.....I have to take out the back seats and the carpet to reach the fuel filter and the pump..
Praying the injector cleaner works because the whole fuel pump/filter change is going to be a nightmare.

Our old van was running poorly once. We took it in to the Ford dealership. The service writer leaned over to me and said, "If I were you, I'd just go over to the auto parts store and buy some 'Sea Foam' cleaner. That may well do the trick. And it will be a heck of a lot cheaper than having us look at things. Try it. If it doesn't work. Come back to see us."

And it worked. Beautifully.

I'm not as tired out as I expected to be from the cleaning yesterday. Still tired, but was able to wake up. It's been pouring rain and thundering all night and day. Lake Charles flooded. Friend's grandfather was driving through there & drove his SUV underwater so it's toast.
Friend couldn't drive to work since he can't see well enough in these conditions to drive safely. His daughter was over there. We popped in to say Hi after stopping at DMV (for bro to renew registration on his truck), post office, and grocery store. Got mom some cough medicine as she's got a cold somehow.
Trying to type while my cat is licking my face. LOL.

I just checked the two auto parts that we have here in town and they don't stock Seafoam but they do stock a lot of other brands.
They stock a Penrite Injector cleaner.
Penrite have a excellent reputation and I feel pretty comfortable using it.
The reviews on this product are really good...nothing under 4 stars which is rare.
