He was replaced quickly.

Surgery is 2.5 hours long, an hour to hour and half after surgery I will be up walking around.
Second day will start PT.
By the third day I will have learn how manuever on crutches(again),walker(again) and the scooter thingy.
Go home on the third day.

I hope all goes well and praying for a speedy recovery.

Planted another lemon tree and watered Dus's tree.

Sat there for a while remembering him and his ways with tears streaming down my face.

It still hurts.

I know how you feel,I lost my wife a few years back and the pain and sorrow was overwhelming for awhile. It does get better over time. Thinking of you.

Still selling lots of stuff. Or at least our son and gf are selling it for me. Just sold the Jeep. Got 2200. for it. Yeah! Out of our driveway. I was on lunch duty and made everyone grilled cheese tomato green chili sandwiches. Trying to get our kitchen scrubbed out today.

Yea! I tried to talk hubby into it for the kid but he is set on a standard transmission.

Not watching grand daughter today.
So ran errands for parents today.
Went to Wal-Mart, got groceries, dog and cat food for them.
You know they don't have pets of their own.
They are dog sitting my youngest sister's dog while she's in Texas.
She visiting her first grandchild.
Then they feed, fixed on their own dime 1 mama cat and 1 of her daughters.
All told the have fixed 5 cats both male and female.
The mama cat was feral, but now she's fed daily, watered, has a dry place to sleep.:ghostly:.
And they worry about her if she don't show up for a few days.

I finished all my computer maintenance today. Not only was I working on plant photos the last few months I’ve been cleaning out my Documents and music folders. I found documents with cheat codes for games I played on win95 &98. I guess I was a pack rat, it took months to go through every single document and text file and delete all the junk. The links in my browser were just as bad, links to websites that haven’t existed for decades. My links back up file in Jan. was 385KB in size, it’s now 220KB.

Anyway, I finished up a few details this morning and started backing up data to thumb drives, its done. I have 3 clean copies of everything. :lil guy:

Congratulations!
You want to come and work on my file cabinet.
Oh wait! I can do that in July after knee surgery.
Nevermind!

I've been cleaning all morning and washing sheets and blankets. The yard guy came and I am so thankful for him! Does a great job without charging an arm and a leg! Just put a chicken, broccoli, rice type casserole in the oven and taking a break. More comforters to go. Tomorrow I wash all three dogs and the couch cover after Church, then Church in the evening.

Yesterday after several months I finally got around to re-keying the door lock on my new garage/shop so it was the same as the house. We never lock it anyway.
We use those coded locks on everything, so we can change codes when we need to. They work great and we have keys stashed in a safe place in the event of battery problems. We have used for ten years and never had a problem.

Headed out of town for a church function in the city where we again took our jerry cans and filled up with fuel at much cheaper prices than we can get here saving another $11.15 on our fuel costs here in our small country town making it a free trip down with the savings we got. We have decided to only take a trip down when we have about 6 jerries to fill and then make a day of it buying fabrics, visiting op shops, buying clothing and fruit if needed to maximise savings on the trip. Our little country town has got extraordinarily high prices on everything.

We packed our own lunch, drinks and some buttered fruit buns for the trip and had a wonderful time and stopped a few times on the way back. Apart from that not done much at all today but we did travel for around 3 hours today both ways.

so did you do well at your yard sale?

Worked in the garden this morning.
Watched grand daughter mid day.
She giggled at me, patted my face, farted like a grown man.
Had poop running everywhere. Up her back to her neck line,
down Granny's shirt,jeans,all over herself.
Just giggling the whole time, patting Granny's face.
Mommy and daddy got back about 45 minutes after she had her bath.
That mess cleaned up, and Granny had changed her clothes for the second time.
Came home, cleaned up again.
Don't think I will feeding her pumpkin, carrots, applesauce for a while.
Then found out big sister gave her some chocolate milk.
Know for sure she's not getting chocolate milk.

Now that sounds like a challenging day! Hope you get some rest!

We did pretty well...sold the Jeep at the yard sale, sold about $75 of junk, son and gf sold about the same. Grandkids made some pocket money. The rest was hauled off to the thrift store, so it didn't go back into the house. Good day! Have been cleaning, catching up at work (I know, it's Sunday), getting things organized. Husband has surgery in the morning. He's hoping he'll get to go home in the evening, but we'll see. I'm off work for the next few days to take care of him. Prayers for speedy healing for him, please. Youngest daughter will go in with us for the morning. Daughter #4 works grave yard at the hospital, so if we do stay, she'll be in.
