We did pretty well...sold the Jeep at the yard sale, sold about $75 of junk, son and gf sold about the same. Grandkids made some pocket money. The rest was hauled off to the thrift store, so it didn't go back into the house. Good day! Have been cleaning, catching up at work (I know, it's Sunday), getting things organized. Husband has surgery in the morning. He's hoping he'll get to go home in the evening, but we'll see. I'm off work for the next few days to take care of him. Prayers for speedy healing for him, please. Youngest daughter will go in with us for the morning. Daughter #4 works grave yard at the hospital, so if we do stay, she'll be in.

Prayers are being sent.

I went ahead and put the automatic egg turner in the incubator yesterday.
It depends on the weather today,if it stays decent I'll probably go fishing in the pond,if it rains,I'll stay in.

Thank you, but I don't consider myself competition to you! I am still a novice. I need to build a track record first before I can be anyone's competition, and that will take a LONG time!

Regular laundry and cleaning the dreaded goat shed today. Put it off as long as I could. If I don't don't do it now, it will be close to 90 degrees when I get to it. Better to get it over with!

Some days it takes longer to get there, then the actual appointment.
Go back next month to read CPAP machine, got new equipment today.
Getting ready to do laundry, already took out trash, while laundry is washing will clean kitchen table.
Anybody knows what takes blueberry juice off enamel tabletop? I'm all ears.
Just got to pour bleach down the toilet, bathroom sink, and shower drain all are running slow.
Hopefully will get a nap sometime today. But only after get the new and improved CPAP machine up and going.
And laundry is finished, washed,dried and put away.

Off to watch grand daughter.
Hopefully it won't be another crappy day like yesterday.
Laundry didn't get done, oh well there's always tomorrow.
Rather play with grand daughter any hoo.
UPDATE: Grand daughter had massive blowout on daddy.
She never craps on him.
Today my little ladybug got him.
Down his chest,lap,legs,he had poop in his shoes.
She just patted his cheek, giggled,cut loose.
His face was priceless.
She even got the pillow, blanket.
But his face was priceless.

Got home from the hospital WITH husband. Had him all prepped for surgery, then the anistesiologist (spelling?) said him lungs were in too bad of shape to do the surgery. She was going to tube him to put him out, but was worried he'd end up in ICU tubed afterwards. So...they decided to measure his fluid retention in his bladder (it was one liter) and they were going to make him just use a catheter. But guess what? No abnormal fluid. Gone. Thanks guys for your prayers!

No goat shed again today as DH said he is not up to helping. Guess my roses will be happy whenever it happens! I did make the Yellow Rice seasoning which smells just like a packet of yellow rice before it cooks! Also making my liver and onions later, finally! Laundry done!

had to take stepdad to the doctor this afternoon. he has allergies. if he is not better in 2 days we are to take him back. hopefully the shots and meds will do the trick. when we got in the truck to leave work and get pawpaw my friend had put me 2 fitz and floyd christmas cookie jars in the backseat. about the time i spotted them he called and asked had i seen my precious cargo.

Went for a combined physio and surgeons visit this morning.

I was wrongly under the impression I was seeing my shoulder surgeon when I got to meet my new knee and hip surgeon.
My last knee surgeon had told me my knee was inoperable and I'd have to learn to live with the pain, lack of mobility and the degeneration of both knees.
The new surgeon is very happy to do a medial reconstruction under a nerve block with a donated, irradiated tendon graft.
THEN he saw how bad my hips were........and I'm going for MRI's on both hips because the hips are worse than the knees.

So at the moment I have no idea which surgery is going to happen first but all them have to be preformed under a nerve block.

I think he got spooked after he did the first knee operation - full lateral release and debridement that was so unsuccessful AND I had that bad reaction to the GA
that he washed his hands of doing anymore work on it.
He resigned from the hospital so I got the new surgeon who took his place who seems a lot better.
