It's raining today so I though I'd water all my porch plants... They are all doing well except my jalapeno's. Something keeps eating them.

Busy day planned. I have to drive to the city (I will be driving past Dr Prepper's hospital) but I have a hundred things to do in town. And I will come home with another load of building supplies (like always). I detest going to town but it is a necessary evil.

Strawberry is whiny.
Worse than a baby.
Mom's mean, meaning I have already detangled her from the Azanlea bush 3 times.
Kitchen table is cleaned off.
Bathroom is deep steamed cleaned.
Mirror in bathroom is sparkling clean.
Dish water is run, dishes soaking.
OS came and got his food out of my freezer, refrig. freezer.
He had busted water pipes last week and most of this week.
Water pipes leaked into refrig. electrical outlet.
No power, water,food so he's been staying at my house.
He left me ice cream in freezer!
Guess I'll let whiny out before I go run parents errands.

I'll be trying to baby along the incubator since the display went out on it,then this evening I'll be watching the 1 year old and baby grandkids.

Some housecleaning, patching a board at fence in back yard so little dog quits escaping to visit kittens under house, list eBay and making Picadillo for dinner. Maybe a dessert, not sure if or what yet. Slow-ish day!

hubby went reg. family doctor today and had blood work done. he goes tuesday to get the results and try to schedule a mri to see if we can find out what is causing all of his pain.

on another note, we are going to a blueberry seminar next thursday to see if we can pick up something new or different for our own bushes. it says it starts from planting , pruning, harvesting and preserving.

Am short an "opening lady" for work, so I need to get in an hour and a half earlier each morning till I hire someone. The one who left gave two weeks notice, but I've had no response to the ad. Bummer. I am not looking forward to the extra hours. Did move all 16 baby ducks today out to the duck area. They were happy as ducks could be. We had two adult males and one adult female in there, and quickly removed the extra male, as he was playing WWF with the babies. He will be son's and gf's dinner tomorrow night. Am so glad no more cleaning out three big duck cages every day after work! It was taking me an extra hour a day, and with the other animal chores. This should be a piece of cake now.

Its been on my list for the last many months. My wife is anxious to meet you, as am I.
My truck had a full load by the time I left the city and it was hanging down from the weight. But made it home safe and got most of what we wanted.

Well, the next time you two are headed to town, let me know ahead of time and we can meet for lunch or something! I am looking forward to meeting you both, too! Did you get caught up in all the construction traffic by the hospital? In addition to the three new buildings, they started working on the new traffic light that is getting put in.

Built a trellis and a teepee for green beans. Planted green beans. Shot a YouTube video. Then went to the kids music recital. Been a productive day!

Ended up just making a hamburger for dinner, tonight. Will cook tomorrow. I switched doctors today. Very rude receptionist where I have gone since moving to town and there is only a nurse prac anyway, so I went around the corner and there was a new office that opened in Jan. and they were great. I'm hardly on any meds anyway, so I would rather be at a doc's office that wants me there.

Boy was this a mistake! About 11am I heard a strange noise outside. There was 10 minute hail storm! This 26april! There are no hail storms this time of year!

About half the size of a dime but still big enough to beat the crap out of my porch plants... Especially my poor jalapeno's! They have enough problems already.

I did get one smile today. I got the bill for my credit card I paid off last month. Why a bill? Not my first rodeo! Even though I paid off the card at the start of the month they still charged me interest on the unpaid balance from the billing date until they actually received payment. I knew this was coming.

A couple of days ago the posting date for the billing cycle of the card happened agian. I was waiting for it and paid it electronically. Next month I'll get a bill for the few hours the interest charge went unpaid. I'll call them up, scream and yell! And then they will mark the account as paid.

Sweeper is run throughout the house.
Coffee is made and being enjoyed.
Military dress shoes are spit shined.
Uniform is out of the closet, shirt pressed, pants creased.
Everything is ready for that.
Got food seasoned for the grill later today.
Going to be watching the grand daughter this afternoon.
Then will have 8 hour drive ahead of me and 5 other members of my former unit.

It is a Cuban dish with hamburger, green olives, raisins, bell peppers and onions. Served over rice. I remember it from my childhood!

I was thinking about you because there are 2 BABY SQUIRRELS in the yard I was just watching. So CUTE and hilarious to watch.
I know, then they grow up and destroy everything.

Recommended to a young employee that if she would cut back on her timing killing chit chat she could get caught up on her back log of work that others are waiting on. Her excuses and then the tactic of redirecting the discussion (verbally slinging mud at me) doesn't work on me. When I pointed out that I'm management and she isn't she almost lost her temper (think typical Snowflake). Rats. She was that close to an opportunity of applying her college degree for "Do you want fries with that?"
