I bet that didn't go over too well, Lazy L. When I'm interviewing new potential employees, I always mention dress code and no cell phones at all. It amazes me how many do not take me seriously.
Sitting in hotel room with 3 other Military LEO's reading about you guys is relaxing right now.
The hard part starts soon enough.
Didn't get my steak last night. Oh, well there's always late Sunday night, early Monday morning(0300 hours).
We paid our respects to the widow early this morning(0600 hours). Talked with her for a while.
Wrestled with 7 year old, held 9 year old while she cried, looked at the 11 year old trying to be brave.
And the 16 year old daughter nowhere to be found, nor was the 17 year old son.
This was a his, hers, and their's marriage.The younger three(theirs) 16 year daughter(his) 17 year son(hers).
I have a hinky feeling about this. And I'm not the only one that has that hinky feeling.
Sure hope we are all wrong. But local LEO's have the same hinky feeling.
Is this where you and your mother lived? It seems that the work has been on you, and this is the way it works in some families, one person gets the work and responsibility, while others want and want.I had somewhat of a busy day yesterday.went back out to the rent house that i moved out of.loaded up another car load of stuff.most of that is for my sis and her son.then kicked back and burnt a bunch of burn trash. Im thinking that one more trip out there.will get the last of it.then the keys to the house will be handed over to the landlords.then and only then. my 3 brothers will get to out there and get whats left.if they want it.
It's a dirty job,but somebody has to do it .....Sorry,couldn't resistLoading dirt in pickup and hauling to fill our new raised beds. Had to stop and take a break. I remember now that I do not like moving dirt!

It was a very dirty job because we are so dry here and it was windy today. It was only 2 yards of dirt that I needed but by the time I finished it seemed like a lot more than that. But the raised beds are all full and ready for planting. It's a dirty job,but somebody has to do it .....Sorry,couldn't resist
