we havent been offered the vaccine out here in the sticks yet, the over 80 year olds are first then health workers, the care home residents MIGHT get it by January or February, then it goes down the age ranges.
I dont really have to make a decision until such time as I AM offered it which at this rate could be the middle or late 2021, at the moment my choice is to NOT take it.
the reports say that is only good for 3 months then the recipient is just as much at risk as someone who hasnt had it so I dont see the point. the vaccine dosent stop someone getting the virus and transmission to another person is still possible even with the vaccine.
the long term risks are still unknown.

I wasn’t really being serious, just being silly honestly About the fact the placebo did better. There are serious considerations about taking this thing from the unknowns. They can only be answered by the person taking it. I can’t say what risks are or are not right for anyone else. For me I believe the benefits outweigh the risks, but that’s my personal choice. As far as the ones saying this is a government conspiracy to sterilize or kill the masses, they are just ignorant, paranoid tin foil hat wearers.....

Knock yourself out and go get the vaccination done, I wish you the best of luck with it and I mean it. Personally, I will not do it, because I know that this approval is rushed. Even if you get vaccinated you won't have a normal life because you won't be able to get away from the restrictions, they will continue to apply, Germany has said so, so why get vaccinated with something where you don't know what's coming.
