I've seen the magic smoke leave... A 1000vdc wire shorted to a 24vdc logic supply that fed every sub system in a catscan... My head was in a high voltage cabinet when the air began to smell funny. All it took was a second... the magic smoke up and moved! didn't leave anything behind either. 🤣 took 4 guys a week to get it running again. 🤕
