I'm gonna have to get the name of that place.....

Terri, that is Western Drug - a really cool place to shop! I'll be taking my hubby there after the gun show.

I hope your young'un is feeling up to it Saturday....I look forward to meeting you (and seeing Mr. and Mrs. Hiwall, too!) What time are you thinking you'll be there?

:woo hoo:

I'm not sure. I have to get on line and see how far it is. Annnd what time I want to get up, it is summer vacation after all.:ghostly:

Once a month Walmart trip this morning for me. Then, actually found frozen fruit for my green smoothies at Dollar Tree today. They don't have it often. Got my fitbit to sync again on my laptop. Don't know why it wasn't but it didn't work for two weeks. I've been walking every morning so now I'll know how far I'm going!

Went back to VA this morning.
Got phone call from Orthopedics Surgeon, urgently needed to pick up new antibotic.
Got up there proceeded to wait 3 hours on Pharmacy for them to get their stuff together.
But while I was there got my new to me lightweight with seat, basket walker.
This one I will keep, it's now mine. Purple with black accessories.
Takes some time to get used to it. But so far so good.

Glad your happy with your seat Mobook. Hope recovery time is now in high gear.

@MoBookworm1957 yes a knee reconstruction is a huge operation and irons you out for some time. DH said (being a professional on having operations after being put back together over 4 years) says your recovery time depends on how hard you push on the physio as to your recovery time. He said you have to accept that that any physio is going to hurt and he said to do anything to push through the pain, bite down on something for the pain :) or do anything that works for you. He said the secret is if you go into any physio knowing and expecting that the pain will be so much that you will pass out and puke you will be pleasantly surprised that it won't be "quite" as bad.

He suggests if the pain is huge that anti nausea medication may benefit you in physio sessions and at other times.

I had a doctors appointment this afternoon to get the stitches out of my thumb. Afterwards I drove by the farmers market and bought a nice yellow watermelon. It's tasty.

Hubby put up new humming bird feeder holders tonight for me...so....I thought mine were fine....two nails pounded in a stick and pounded in the wall....one nail pounded in the end of the stick to hold the feeder...LOL....but they do look nicer with metal holders screwed into the wall....also put up holders for my bougainvillea plants...the hummingbirds loved the red ones, did not touch the white ones...the bees loved them all....they are no respecters of flowers....LOL

A long long day. Started mowing at 10:30am and got done about 6pm. Spent some time trying to get a grass carp, got a few shots but missed, figured up this month's bills, washed the dishes, went to town and am now fixing supper at midnight all on about 4 1/2 hours sleep. Needless to say I didn't get the bills done,I'm beat.

Started off the morning with myself putting on a load of washing in the washing machine, hanging it out and putting it on the clothes line. Meanwhile DH was cutting the large discs of Ironbark firewood into quarters with the chainsaw and loaded them under the house, he didn't have a hope of splitting them with the splitting axe and was bouncing off them. While he was doing that I stripped the bed and put the sheets in the dirty clothes basket and DH put on a load of washing on, hung it out and watered some of the front lawn with the saved grey water.

I whilst he was doing that deep cleaned the bathroom and toilet for the week and after a bit of a break DH washed the dirty dishes and cleaned the benches in the kitchen and I wiped them and put them away. I put the dish rinsing water on the newly planted subdivisions of thyme we planted and on the rosemary bush out the front that is looking a little worse for wear. DH has just finished doing a quadruple batch of chocolate magic mix pudding and put some in two bowls some for us and some for the friends that invited us for dinner tonight. Most of our friends always contribute with a plate of food if we go to the other person's home for dinner as we think it makes it so much easier on the person hosting us.

Watched the results of the TN elections tonight. The 20-year political career at both the state and federal level will be coming to an end for Republican Congressional member Diane Black.

In Lynchburg VA... due to heavy rains, there's a threat of the College Lake Dam failing, so the evacuation of residents in the area are underway.

I just stopped at the Denny's on my way to work this am and saw about 6 Rats running along side the building and under the bushes next to the side doors at the parking lot. It might have been okay to go inside, but no, didn't do it, I left feeling GROSSED OUT!

Don't blame you one bit, tiffanysgallery. Bleech.
Off to feed the animals, the husband, do morning chores, then to work. I won't get home till late again, so dinner is going to have to be quick. Last night I worked till closing, and then the broker that we were going to list the business with asked for an evening tour with his money guys. They are going to be talking to a lady who wants to purchase just the business then run the place, so the broker is thinking about buying the building and land for an investment property. The broker's family is one we've known for many years, and our children were friends with their children. So we'll see what comes about next week. It would be a good investment for them and could allow me to retire finally.
Twins have another night of vacation Bible School, and then tomorrow morning till lunchtime. It is at a Spanish speaking church, so they are learning lots of Spanish. Some of the kids, like the twins, have an interpreter. Last night our grandson said he learned about what God thinks of him, and also how to roll his r's.

You need some :doghouse:.

going to see about mother and run a few errands today. garden is about over for now, will plant some fall peas, acrrots, etc. i 'm kinda glad, so i can concentrate more on deep cleaning house and yard. we have wood to split, camper to work on. but first things first. my sister and her hubby bought a place at the river . it has 3 trailer's on it. so they invited us to go spend some time and go fishing. so yes we are taking them up on it ,but right now all we can do is a 3 day weekend. i'll take it. so i have to get ready for that.

Blessings....as I fix breakfast and look at the small eggs from the Cochin hens....small but still nourishing, scrambled up with cheese and topped with salsa...hot sausage...toast..pineapple/mango juice....and coffee.....when we have extra, we share with our renters....hot weather slows down my egg machines...LOL....hubby loves a big breakfast every morning....he is thinking of letting the garden go, turning it over to the sheep and donkey....little is being produced, the heat is cooking everything....but the critters will enjoy the new vegetation.....

Had a good day at the gun show. All the ads for the show said "free admission" but they were charging $5 for the public to enter:(
I didn't have to pay because I was a vendor but it did bother me that they were charging when they distinctly advertised it was free. Sold one gun and a few hundred in other junk.
