Used up a bag of cat food and went to pick up another one. Somehow cut my chin on the corner of the bag.

Setup a curbside order last night to be able to pickup at Samsclub today. Set 8 to 9am timeframe knowing it would not be ready then. Got notice after 10am that it was ready. Stopped at Flying Wok with my brother to eat before going to Sams. Stopped by the post office to get mail. My computer wall mount thingy arrived. But the case is delayed until middle of August. Changed my mind on the fan as the one I wanted won't fit the motherboard without interfering with the RAM. Found a cheaper one. Later on if I'm not happy I can get a fancier one-- but no LEDs. Those create more heat and waste electricity. They are low electric usage, but its still extra. I don't need fancy lights.

Napped for a few hours and then left around 7 to go meet my friend at the store. His paycheck hasn't landed and he needed gas and groceries. Mom requested a Subway sandwich so I got one for her and then I ate a salad.

I need to shower and do more laundry.

Well, I got the Cologuard test kit that my Dr ordered.
It may spare me from another colonoscopy.
I have about a 50/50 chance of passing it since I already have the 'defective DNA' that they also test for.
Heard back from the Dr's office today, results came back 'normal', repeat in 3 years.
Yaaay! No colonoscopy!:woo hoo:

Amish: sorry about your mom

Hashbrown: good luck with the finger operation, just thinking about it makes me cringe . ouch

Getting ALL the teeth pulled??? Why? I had an impacted wisdom tooth pulled in my 40s and it hurt like hell afterwards , can't imagine ALL of your teeth at once . Can't they just do one at a time? They can't all be bad all at once, or can they?

Overdid it yesterday now my back hurts and I have heat rash .
We cleaned the sheep area in the barn ( a foot and a half of compacted sawdust, muck , old hay and crap) . Son helped so we got it done. 2 people shoveling on a wheelbarrow, then dump it on the little trailer attached to the ATV and we took turns driving it to the pasture and dumping, then spreading the piles
I cleaned the house
Also did laundry
Dogs got ignored yesterday and Otto didn't like it, he was crying when I put him in his crate to clean the livingroom
Today I am going to make bread dough for the market
Yes, All of them. Medications that I take have side effects

Are you smoking it wrapped in foil or making a “pot” of foil so it gets smoked?
Inquiring minds (and mouths) want to know.
Smoke it wrapped in foil
You can smoke it with out wrapping it up
But it tends to fall apart when I do that

Watering the orchard today. We have 24 fruit trees, 4 rows of grapes, 4 rows of blackberries, 5 rows of raspberries and a patch of strawberries. Been picking strawberries and now the raspberries are starting to ripen.
Supposed to get up to 101 in town today, but at our elevation we're usually 10-20 degrees cooler. Yesterday was 100 degs in town and 88 up here. Still too dang hot. I took a dip in the water tank to cool off.
We might go to the lake after watering.

Side effects suck, Frodo! Sending you hugs.

I'm watching Star Trek: Strange New Worlds online and waiting for it to be long enough after taking my thyroid meds to eat something else.
Zinda, His eyes red.

Hmmmm
Either a black berry cobbler or some black berry wine
Which way are you headed?

I have not had hand cranked Icecream in years, MaN that’s good

I was taught by another guy
That you double freeze your fruit to make wine
Freeze it, thaw it, freeze it to break it down and to kill off the natural yeasts or they can fight with the yeast you add
I dunno if that process is factually sound but it is what I do

a bit too humid
Ours runs in mid to upper 90 percentile most of the summer. I don't mind it, either @Pearl ! Supposed to be 97 today and I will be out pruning our front hedge after my 3 hour commitment.

Already walked.
Helping friend in a bit.
Stop at clinic for copies of labs and then Post office to mail something for great granddaughter.
Pruning hedge and roses this afternoon.
Cool off!

I'm ignorant about real estate. What does it mean they are under contract? Are they houses your real estate never showed you that you might have wanted?

Still tired from the trip to Samsclub yesterday. This whole chronic fatigue thing sucks. Need to do some laundry-- caught one of the cats supersoaking a pillow and some sheets. I think he's having health problems from the smell of it. Will need to take him to the vet to get him checked out.

Chatting with my friend about PC builds and hoping some of the parts will go down in price.

Under contract is they have recieved/accepted an "offer" to buy, Not final, maybe the buyer has financing, maybe not, maybe they dont like the inspection, but, we move on.

My list is long, and rather convoluted, and flexible, the buyer agent is learning :). He's gonna get a payout at the end, but he doesn't know it.

I'm pissed. 2 houses we never saw are under contract.

Oh, man, you're raking up flashbacks... I can't tell ya how many times that happened to me, often because I couldn't get through to the realtor in time. By the time I did, the house was already under contract... and I was ready to throw down cash, the full asking price, no haggling, lol. That's why it's so important to check listings every day, maybe you'll catch one just as it comes up and you'll have a fair chance at making an offer. It's difficult when those goldurned investment groups snatch up properties to use as rentals... 😒

I'm moving slowly today, had some rum drinks last night... but I got the watering done, thank goodness it was still cloudy when I was outside. Cleaned up, did dishes, had breakfast, then I decided to lie back down for awhile... which was a good call, lol. Now I feel a little better, but I don't plan on going anywhere today, there's no need. I'll probably just share quality time with the cats, since I'm in no mood for home rehab work, lol. It's a wonder anything ever gets done around here, lol... but when I DO home rehab work, I'm a white tornado! 😉

Our agent tries, but I hear summer is a "hot" market for people wanting a new school district for the kiddos.

Eventually, the hunt will conclude, in the meantime we have a paid for house :)

98° here Saturday?? I really do LOVE it when it's 110°! I don't know why!?🤔
Ok, so are you really serious or kidding? Sometimes hard to tell if it is humor or serious online ...lol
I cannot imagine anyone really liking 98 degrees, much less 110.... that's just so miserable. I hate it when it goes above 80 here ( but we don't have ac)
We didn't have power in Florida for weeks a few times after hurricanes, and it was THE most miserable I have ever been outside of being sick or injured. 95 degrees , 98% humidity and even at night it would not cool below 80. Miserable...I think I would rather live in Siberia than go through that again. I think I didn't sleep for 2 weeks once in Florida
It's around 80 here today, just hot enough for me

Dademoss, what's to stop you from checking listings yourself? Sometimes an agent is so busy that he or she can't possibly make connections in time... I always used Realtor.Com myself, that's the one which a majority of realtors reportedly use. I found it easier to filter out unwanted homes with that site, compared to other real estate websites. 😒

Storming like crazy, so I'm doing new recipes in my head.
Ditto. Meh. whatever... I think I'll break in my new pipe.

Had one more quote done on replacing the furnace at the house I want to buy. Owner should have all the quotes in soon and we're going to meet next week to negotiate the final price. This time of uncertainty is a bit tiring. I finally got the water samples back and the arsenic is over the limit, so looks like I'll have to look at installing an RO system too.
Sanded the stairwell, have to put on another layer or two of mud yet. Found some cucumbers and one ripe tomato so far in my poor neglected garden. Daughter is here for a couple of days so enjoying some time with her.

A fresh crispy creme, stuffed with chocolate ice cream, covered in chocolate chips and a big shooter of Mocha rum cures many ills.
Try this, it's the only other one I know:
A bed of crushed Oreos or sugar wafers or whatever you like?
2 bananas sliced lengthwise and laid side by side.
1 heaping scoop each of Chocolate, fudge, and Mocha or dark or just add it for whatever.
Slather in chocolate fudge and sprinkle with toffee chips or nuts or...
Stick a flag in one end. It's called a gunboat. serve it with iced coffee.
