One of our teachers has a 4 year old that goes to a different preschool. She was out yesterday because she was hysterical after finding out a little girl in his class was showing him how crack and meth are smoked and how to put coke up your nose, Of course she didn't have any, but obviously her parents and their druggie friends do. Our teacher was livid and went to talk to the school director and said she would report it. Of course she didn't. I had our teacher report it, so she was out to meet with child services today and will be moving her son to our school right away. Child services will be investigating the girls family, but they said they've been there before. We have had 2 instances of little girls raped to death this year in meth houses. What is wrong with people?

No Dad, no job, no love, no Jesus...that's what's wrong with people...

Mo..you are the smallest foot lady I've heard of. I wear a size 10 and so do my daughters. Granddaughter wears size 11. Now she is difficult to find shoes for!
Just work today, and more cleaning and chores when I get home.
My feet are the smallest thing on my body.

Not much done yesterday but went and saw another property with another real estate agent, it was not suitable but everything is worth a look at and a second look at another we had looked at earlier in the afternoon. The first property wasn't suitable and too small and the one in the afternoon we thought had promise is sinking and floating above the house stumps, yes truly this is even as they put in the listing that it was recently re-stumped. I noticed that the property had cracks in the lounge room wall which sent alarm bells ringing so we booked a second closer look. The walls are separating from the floor as it has sunk, not good and the agent is furious with the seller that she out and out lied to him about it being restumped. Washing was done prior to going.

This afternoon we are seeing another property out of town on nearly one acre of land and it is an old church so it should be interesting. Shall catch up later this afternoon with you all.

Had Estelle today long day.
Went and visited my parents today.
It's official: Estelle is climbing now.
Look out here we go now.
Really tired tonight as my ladybug(Estelle) was super busy trying to climb everything in site.
Both knees are swollen tonight. Left more so than right.
Super is over.
Laundry is washed, dried but not put away.
Always tomorrow.
Dishes not done either, again there's always tomorrow.
Decided to do yoga on days I don't have PT.
Hopefully will keep the swelling down some.
Night all.

Had to use every towel in the house to clean the kitchen floor. The ice maker forgot how to turn the water off when it was full and overflowed the ice bin and was trying to overflow the kitchen. Fortunately when we hooked it up I made sure the shut off valve was easy to reach. What a pain.....

@Sewingcreations15 , an old church? I had dreams about an old church as a home. Babysat with a friend in one once. Month of October, trees without leaves, at night, cemetery included. Sure seemed spooky to my 12 year old brain!
But I'm super excited for you with your house shopping. It'll be another adventure for you and your husband.

@MoBookworm1957 , you wear me out. I wish you could get a little more time to heal.
Terri, our fridge has been making loud noises. So far, it's ok.

I think we have gotten enough stuff out of the 3 freezers that we can condense down and clean out the small one. In it I have 3 10 pound bags of boneless chicken thighs that I want to grind and make burger out of. If we can empty it , we are going to un plug it until we get deer, squirrel, or fish. That will be 1 down ans 2 large ones to go.

@Patchouli it is really exciting having a look at properties but at the same time truly mind frazzling.

We went and had a look at the old church home today but it is truly not a possibility as it has lead paint and the house has been on the property for 20 years unpainted so the whole land block will be contaminated. The inside also will have lead paint inside it so you wouldn't be able to do any renovations on it for fear of disturbing the lead in it. Such a shame as it was a beautiful 15 square metre huge home with 30 ft vaulted ceilings. It also had termite damage in one wall as well and the whole house would be a veritable money pit of endless repairs. Oh well back to the property on 2.5 acres out of town that appears to be the best value so far for our money.

DH started off the morning with stain removing some clothing, putting on a load of washing, hanging it on the clothes line and then he watered the lawns with saved grey water from our showers and washing machine. I then deep cleaned the bathroom and toilet for the week and DH swept the floors and vacuumed the carpets. Shortly we shall make the bed and fold up 2 loads of washing.

Tonight's dinner was homemade pizza.

I am working on my grocery list stalking the local grocery stores online lol I'm price comparing and checking coupons to load to my cards and then I shall go forth a fight the dreaded money hungry dragon known as food shopping :waiting::p
One has a great price on chicken and another has pork loins on a BOGO ( so they're half price). I'll make my list for each store and then do a circle ending with the one closest to the house. Most of the time I can be home by lunchtime lol I'll be stocking up and then repackaging for our meals. Probably won't go until monday that way I miss the weekend crowds at the stores and the traffic

It has actually stopped raining!!!!!! Its moved off to the coast ( they can have it lol) Now its supposed to be sunny and 70's daytime and 50's night time :dancing:
I told my hubby that I'll be out sitting in the sun today. I'm solar powered and been feeling tired even though I take 5,000 units of VitD3 every day, all these days and weeks of rain have done me in literally I think

Yes I've found the smilies ;)

I received my big clothing order so now I can get them washed up so they're ready to be worn. Everything fits so I'm happy not to have to return anything. Always a pain even when it goes smoothly

I also have to get started on making sure our cold weather clothes are ready ( washed and mended if needed)

We had to buy a refrigerator yesterday. DH had to have a bigger one than I thought we needed. Now we have a big (25 cu. ft.) double door with ice and water in the door. Fella installing it said it is the Tessla of fridges. Cost 873.00 and I got 50.00 more off and no interest for 12 months. Of course there was tax and delivery, so more money than I would have spent, but will probably outlast us! We also got the wills that I put off for so long witnessed and signed. Still need to print copies and distribute.

So far today, I trimmed or pruned a huge bush in the back yard and hauled away the branches. Washed both dogs again, with flea shampoo this time. Took eBay photos for DH. After lunch, I just need to change A/C filter, light bulbs and put a few items in overhead china cabinet. I will be caught up! Also dusted house.

A woman I see at the dog park talks about how she grew up with a family that partied. Her grandparents and parents partied regularly. She smokes pot before she gets out of bed in the morning, and as the day progresses. She got a DUI so has pretty much quit drinking because of the hassle.

Children learn what they live.

@Patchouli the old church also had extensive termite damage through one whole wall and whichever firm removed it didn't join it up property and it had gaps through the floor boards with no floor joists underneath them and it was sinking in some areas and would have needed restumping amongst many more problems. I would estimate with painting and getting it back to habitable it would have cost around $100 000 or more to fix and the quote we got just to paint it was over $30 000.

Yikes! I’d be looking at other properties for sure!

Up all night and sick in bed. Achy, fever, stomach. Everyone around me got their flu shot. Bleech. Haven't been sick in bed for years. Texted son to do our animals.

Oh no! Feel better soon. I hate getting sick.

Stopped at a neighbor's yard sale today and bought 2 ICB 275 gallon water containers for $30 each. I could have bought one more he had but decided I had enough rain water storage for the garden.

That's a good price. They used to be free down here. Now they are between $75-100.

Hi Amish Heart and get better soon sounds like it might be the dreaded lurgy flu :( :huggs:.

@hiwall that is a really good price for the tanks they cost around $120 new here. You can get them secondhand but most of them have had chemicals in them and personally I would not risk it for food or home water supplies. We have friends who purchased these and we have been warning them that a good wash out does not get the chemicals out of them and it is impregnated in the plastic :dunno: . One of these families who bought these for watering their vegetable patch, his wife has just been diagnosed with cancer. How the heck do they know what chemical was in those tanks and why would anyone take that risk is beyond me.
