@Frodo I hope you get things sorted out with the missing delivery. I know that situation all too well. I just ordered some stuff from HomeDepot and Amazon and am anticipating problems with the HD order if it comes via Fedex. But we'll see. Did they have any "proof of delivery" pics?
Went for a walk this morning-- started out looking for my oldest cat but it was nice outside and the dogs wanted to play so I walked. Saw the cow's waterer was low and still full of rotting leaves, twigs, and pecans. So I dumped it out (this time I avoided the fire ants). Put a splitter on the hosebibb so I can have 2 hoses. Got the new hose attached, rinsed out the trough, got the new hose on the filler and have it filling up. Will have to check it later for any leaks. But the cows should have nice clean water now. Made sure the hose was for potable water.
Then I grabbed my gorilla cart and hauled more trash to the burn pile. Cat I'd been seeking found me so I stopped and brought him inside for some canned food. The wheels on the cart are great. Go over rocks and pits without problems. Very easy to maneuver for the size of it.
Waiting to see if my friend decides he wants to paint at his house today or if he will at least tape stuff off so I can go over and paint. I volunteered to paint while he takes a break from the plumbing work he did yesterday setting up a rainshower thing in his bathroom. He opted to use galvanized pipe to offer more support on the ceiling.
