Just got a text from a cousin that was at the reunion from Florida. I guess they'll be visiting us at our place tomorrow. Her mom, her dad, husband, other sis. Saw them today, but haven't seen them since I was a kid. She was making Trump jokes. We'll see how this goes.
Planning to get together with my favorite Amish cousins tomorrow evening before we head out the next day. Guess I better get some more pie.

This forum is part of my social media. There have been times I was here too much, and yeah.
We were challenged by our church leaders to do this 10 day social media fast, among other helpful things.
I'm imagining that's why we're not hearing from Sewingcreations 15. I'm not perfect, that's why I try to do the best I can. The entire conference seemed aimed directly at me, even if there are 16 million plus members worldwide.

my bottom started when my phone wouldn't tap into my facebook any more..then my tablet. This fight went on for about a year or more..until this summer kaput..whatever gremlins are in the works..its not working. I think my phone and tablet are just to ancient to keep up with all the updated crap..
I got used to it. Its been months again since I've checked in on it. I cant recall my password now..so I have to dig it up. Its been years since Ive have a real computer..tablets at least my ancient one is limited..
I am stoked to find all my music I purchased on amazon is still there..updated tech has its perks I guess..
10 days tho now...I would feel shafted..I just got back !

I could live without FB and such. Although I do like my twitter feed mostly because I follow the local police, traffic and Fire and Rescue pages. They give updates on traffic accidents and road shutdowns, and backups, fires,etc, so you know where NOT to go to avoid being late for things. I read those and then inform the hubby via text message. I've saved him a lot of aggravations over the years because of that info lol

I barely use my FB. Its so boring because nobody posts on there hardly anymore. Its so censored that pages I follow and have notifications checked rarely get posted to my news feed. Its a joke. Occasionally I'll pop over to Instagram to see whats going on but I don't post much.

I don't do social media, just a few forums. This one primarily. I look at a British/Australian homemakers forum and sometimes respond to something, but mostly not. Prepping scares them, that's why Sewing is over here with us. And they are crazily pc. Can't even say "husband", they say "partner". Mainstream Preppers is another one I was on for years and still check in on occasion just to see what Ben is up to. It's gotten to be his personal diary.

A friend poured out 4 inches of rain out of gauge last night.
Poured out another 4 inches this morning.
Still raining, thunderstorms for the next several days.
Strawberry has been out several times.
She got stuck twice(wrapped her lead around bush twice), last time I just left her there till she got unstuck.
Course when I go out to get her unstuck get rained on(thunderstorm).
Didn't walk this morning, but will this evening.
Went to Physical Therapy this morning.
Going to make beef and vegetable soup in crockpot for supper.
Think I will curl up with book this afternoon, rest.

Got two more garden carts full of straw and poop from goat shed area and put it up on roses. That completely finishes that project! Killed 3 huge ant condos. Did all laundry. Heated up some of yesterday's dinner and now I am going to relax for a while. Maybe make some phone calls a little later.

I know! lol I have the ac back on. It was SO humid yesterday that the heat index was back into the 90's. Today its the same but high 80's and its to continue into at least tomorrow. It was miserable sleeping last night even with a fan running. Hopefully tonight I can get some rest. I slept last night but it wasn't a restful sleep.

AWOL at the moment but still here. Our offer has been accepted on the house we went and saw yesterday so busy signing house contracts with our solicitor, setting up deposits and seeing the bank for a housing loan. Pheww we are so strung out and excited.

Wish us luck and pray we get our housing loan everyone, the repayments will be less than our current rent in the house we are renting now and we have a large deposit.
