Bacon will lift any man's spirits!Bored is better than stressed, Phideaux. Glad it went well today.
Husband has a urology appt today, and there was a Guns and Ammo mag in the room to read. Thought that was funny. Wouldn't see that in New Mexico. Ha.
Went to Aldi's and got a cart full. Took forever to take it away. Didn't get half the stuff done today I should of done, but oh well. Husband is napping in the recliner, and I'll need to start dinner soon. Did two loads and laundry, hung it out and it's done. Supposed to go to a 9am coffee break at my cousins in the morning, I think. I didn't bake anything to bring, but I do have some bacon in the freezer I could cook and bring. We're getting together at the coffee break with my cousin who is a new widow. He is having a really hard time right now. I know he likes bacon.
Sure does...had a bacon cheeseburger in the coffee shop for lunch.Bacon will lift any man's spirits!
Guess what's on the menu in my kitchen tonight?Just finished bacon and eggs

Such a long drawn out ordeal, for both of you, Jim, that didn't need to be. The emotional stress takes its toll as well. Hopefully, things will improve after wife's surgery today, for both of you.
Next time you're stuck somewhere and bored, set up a Zoom video chat! It might be interesting to see how many of us could make it on short notice on the forum. I'm not always on, but usually have a browser window open the forums, even if I'm not at my computer.Let me take time to thank all of for your thoughts and prayers for us thru this .
Also thanks to all of yall for keeping me company , which really helped , because no one else was allowed to be there. Normally friends and family gathers for a surgery and visits with each other...y'all were here for me.

BP blessings to your mom and family! I totally understand what you feel in the way of not being allowed to be there. In 24 days of hospitalization, my mom was allowed to visit one day for a few hours and me not at all. As I type this, my dad is in and should be finishing another “procedure.” I awoke at 3:30 this morning- we are slammed at work and will be waiting to hear.Mother went thru the procedure in good shape. No blockages at all. Was in recovery doing well then her BP dropped to 40s over 30s all at once. Ran my dad out of the room and Dr are trying to figure out what's going on. Please offer up another prayer for them. Talkin with my dad he is more upset than I can ever recall. Hospital won't let me in to be with him either.
Spent most of Wednesday morning on the phone with Apple. Trying to resolve a problem with my iPhone. On charger all night, indicates it's 100% charged, use it for a minute and black screen of death (dead battery). Plug it into the power cord within a few minutes it's alive and 100% charged. Leave it plugged into power and phone stays powered, no black screen of death.
First Tech agreed with me the battery needs to be replaced. Tech sent me a link on which Apple stores could replace the battery. The only store in my half of the State is closed because of the China Flu. Can I mail it in? Tech gave me a number that would assist me in returning my phone.
Calling the number I get another Tech. I explain what was going on...Tech wanted to check a few other things first. I grant him remote access...battery looked good...turned off a power option. Unplugged my phone from the power and we talked for several minutes. No black screen of death! Tech said try it and if the problem returns then set the phone back to factory default (he sent me the how to link) and then restore my Apps from iCloud backup.
Black screen of death is back. Phone is 1 1/2 years old. I've discovered the if I'm on a call there is no issues with the battery, only when I'm browsing or click on APPS. Perhaps it is a software problem after all?
Spent most of the afternoon resetting my phone back to factory default. This over writes the phone's software. Then I used my recent backup to load my APPs and settings. Still the black screen of death.
Slept on it and decided to replace my iPhone with their SE model for $400.
Dad gets to come home today. They "think" this procedure "did it." I sure hope so.
I am exhausted - not just from this, but from everything.
