Your liking them cats, admit it ! :) We've been watching more old movies lately too.

Today we are having a snow day, it is nice to watch from in the house. Did a little bit of work around the indoor garden.. Church was called off so we did an in home version... I found a lesson on self reliance and that went well. The lesson was from about 1977 but the message still rings true..

I have had a bad case of vertigo all weekend. Not able to do much without my head spinning and I need to sit down. I think it is the double dose of melatonin I have been taking to get to sleep the past 2 nights. I am forgoing the melatonin tonight to see.

I did get my hands on 5 pounds of dried elderberries. I stashed them in the freezer for now. I have about half a pound left from another package I need to use first. I figure with the way things are going we need to be able to play doctor for our families. I don't know how long it will be before they try to make us all get the experimental vaccine just to see a doctor for an annual check up.

Vertigo stinks. I hope its the melatonin and not something more serious.

The vertigo started when I was pregnant with Juju but it comes and goes. Mostly I'll have months without the spins then I get it bad when I get up too fast in the morning.

It was a cold day here in the 20s with a gusting north wind. I tried to stay in the house and watch movies but I have never been the type that can sit still. I asked the boy if he wanted to go catch some trout and he did so we bundled up and went to Taneycomo to fish. It was damn cold on the water but we managed to catch a few trout. We also had a nice whitetail buck come through and were able to watch him for almost an hour.

"Benign Postural Diziness"

?

Ben

The inner ear has "crystals" in it. I have lots of allergies that cause fluid buildup in my ears that push the crystals out of place. When that happens I have dizzy spells when I sit up or turn my head to fast. This exercise helps to get the crystals back where they should be.

Y'all are in good shape to brave those temps.
I wouldn't last 5 minutes.

Good memories.

Nice day on the water sounds like. Good looking fish to.

Terri, my wife had a car wreck years ago. About 3 days later she had a bad attack of vertigo. Took nearly 6 months to get her straightened out. Dr told her about the crystals, I told him I always knew she had rocks in her head. LOL She still has bouts every so often with it that will last 2-3 days typically.
One thing she found out is she has a birth defect in one of her inner ears that makes her susceptable to vertigo. She always had trouble with car sickness and riding amusment rides making her sick. Dr said it was all related, but the car wreck triggered the bad vertigo.

Being in Florida so long or just in the south no way could I acclimitize to that kind of cold.:eek:Of course those who are use to cold climates can't stand the heat and humidity down here. Last time I was in cold ice and snow was in the mid 1990s with 4 of the grand daughters.

Maybe one of my daughters has that she gets car sick like ,sea sick sometimes like BacPs wife. Of course she has eczema and allergies too, aka hay fever. Hope not sshe has enough problems with the other two.Now HP is bad going through the change for last couple years since late 40s.

I had a wonderful day today. Drove 2.5 hours to the shopping mecca to pick up 2800 lbs of metal shelving. Had to be there at 9 am when they opened to have them load the pallets. I was on time, they were not. Finally loaded at 11am.

Weather system of freezing rain coming in on top of 6 inches of snow. I need to get moving asap. Drove about half a block when the worst ruckus ever, started up in my front passenger wheel area. Forced to drive 3/4 of the way around the block to a safe parking spot.

It took about an hour to find a tow service that could haul the truck and another pick up to handle the loaded trailer. It is Sunday, and the only car rental place was closed. Fortunately, the tow truck driver knew the rental agent and I was able to get the last car in town. Finally got home at 7:30 pm. I am thankfull that I wasn't out on the highway in the weather when it happened. I am guessing it is the wheel bearings.

Amish,

I have no place to stash half of my former farm. The school doesn't have any out buildings. The shelving is going in one of my 40 ft containers to contain all my garden, shop, canning, farm and you name it, supplies. The shelving will let me use the space more efficiently.

I got a good bulk price for heavy duty all steel shelves 6'H x 6'L x 2.5'D with a 1500 lb rating. I cannot build them for even close to the price I got. My day would have been considerably less wonderful, if I had been forced to leave my new trailer and that load on the shoulder somewhere in an ice storm.

This morning I got up at 04:00 to shovel the drive so the Nurse could visit the wife this morning. The snow had a layer of Ice on it and it appears to be a light freezing rain out. I did salt the walks and drive so I am hoping I will not have to do it again before they get here. Had some work related stuff pop up so I will have a full day today.

Yesterday, had Church then made egg salad. Also hamburgers for DH and chicken patties for me.
Did 2 exercise videos.

Today will do a video shortly.
Go to thrift shop to see about jars where I got all the lids from.
Dollar Tree for frozen fruit and salmon pieces.
St Andrews mission to see if I can volunteer for anything.
Home and walk dogs.
Take eBay photos.
Not much else today.
