Will it be as powerful as the upgraded motor? I don't often sew thin items. I actually need to purchase a consew or techsew....
I honestly can't say for sure. You would need an appropriate needle, but then just test it out. If it goes fine with a motor, it should go fine with a treadle.
At our house we might be sewing machine poor... the wife has always made garments (including my favorite fleece hunting shirt). For Modern Machines I think she has a set of Juki sewing machine and 5 thread surger. She also has a Husqvarna, Singer 4 thread surger. We have an old white what I am allowed to sew with.... ;)

We also have 3 treadles, 1 White and two Singers, the newest (to us) is the 1921 model 66, we also have an old singer portable (black leather covered case) I think it is a 221 but not sure.

I am normally not allowed to play with the wife's toys.

BTW the Husq is one of the computerized ones from around 1999 and she hates it, is always needs cleaning and adjusting.

The Juki machines have been machines reliable and she loves them.
Not sure if I'm envious of her or proud of her 😂 I too have a bit of a collection. At one point, I think I had 14 machines. They follow me home like stray kittens. I now have half dozen-ish and one surger (4 thread). I had a new computerized machine for a while. I sold it - same thing. It drove me nuts, was finicky and didn't have as nice of stitch as the old Singers.
So this morning, I made like the Lone Ranger and went Tada Dump, tada dump, tada dump dump dump - oh please don't kick me off the forum for that. I'll stop.

Then went to HD and got extra parts we might need tomorrow for the septic tank install and a few more bags of mulch. I saw a sign on the way there, so on my way back stopped in at an estate sale. Got a few hammers and punches, a spring rake, a couple handkerchiefs and a small veggie pot. Met the nicest elderly lady from Germany - I was there about an hour chatting! It's so funny when you meet someone and can just talk to them like you've known them forever. As I was paying, the gentleman at the table said he had leather working tools. (I mentioned that's why I wanted the hammers and punches). He said he thinks he knows right where they are and would rather them go to someone who might use them as his kinds don't want them. So I gave him my name and # and got his name. He is the cousin of some folks we know - small world. It was just very nice. Might sound funny of me, but this town hasn't been very welcoming and is rather snooty. This was probably one of the nicest experiences I've had since living here - and it was at a by chance estate sale. Who woulda thought?

I use a Rebel Tumbler with stainless steel media, a squirt of Dawn dishwashing soap and a touch of citric acid. Believe we are thinking of two different types of brass. I'm thinking of brass as in the cartridge of ammunition that is used for reloading.

Oh yes we are thinking of two different kinds of brass,I'm thinking of my old brass decorative candle holders. Will it work on them too?I have a lemon and dawn dish too.

This morning when I wasn't committing suicide I was changing out the sparkplugs and leads on my Hyundai.
It's a huge drama to do these simple tasks but I used this YouTube tutorial to learn how to do it myself.
The Buzzbox developed a miss fire and a hesitation and stall when under load.
From reading a lot of car forums and watching a lot of youtube videos I figured this would be the simplest possible fix for the issue and also if I was going to change the leads I may as well change the spark plugs while I was at it.
It worked. I had a quiet prayer when I dropped the hood and climbed in to take it for a test drive and I gave it plently of opportunity to have the issue but NOPE. I fixed it. Praise God and be blessed the work of my hands.
I just saved myself $600++ AUD
As you can see by this YT video the whole process is a real chore and one I have never done before.

These guys kid around a little atimes, but they sure helped me with my knee. My trick is to stop if it hurts alot when I do these web docs.

Thank you for sharing. I will give this a try.
Massage today, she worked out a few nots and did a stretch on my hips too. Different than shown in this video, but she was surprised at how far she was able to move my leg due to my flexibility. I impressed her more afterwards when I showed her, despite my old back injury, that I can still bend forward and place my hands flat on the floor.

I am assuming that you have upright freezer, be thankful, if it were a chest freezer you would not have known until you smelled the problem.....

That stinks. We put alarms on all of ours after one had the power indicator lights go out. The freezer was fine but I spent a restless night thinking my freezer had died.

I'm sitting at SeaTac Airport waiting to fly to KC.
I used to work here and the changes are amazing.
I haven't been around this many people in years and I don't like it much.
The TSA won't let you bring water and it's $4 a bottle at 4he gate waiting area.
Bring an empty water bottle next time and fill it at the drinking fountain. If it isn't see through you could possibly sneak a beer or mixed drink from the bar, but you didn't hear that from me as you are not supposed to bring your own alcohol on a plane. 🍺

Had a climbing training class this morning. Full harness and all the climbing gear. We only went 40 feet, but that was enough. Right before I started to climb, my wife called to tell me she had a low tire on her car. Not much I could do other than tell her to stop by the tire store and get it aired up. She did, but it was going back down by the time she got home. I'm hoping she just picked up a nail. BTW, Rebar ladders are rough on your hands and I forgot my gloves. Hands were bleeding by the time I got down. Passed the class, so I can go up the stacks if need be now, well as soon as my gear arrives. Rest of the day was pretty calm.
Had plans for this evening and tomorrow in the garden. Didn't get a thing done tonight and tomorrow gonna go get a set of tires, so won't get much done tomorrow either. We had planned to get tires this fall. May just fix it if it's only a nail.

Got the new fuel filter installed on the Lebaron...now it starts right up.
Checked all the lug nuts on all 4 wheels , found 10 bad ones , so will buy some when we go to next town over for Bluegill.
Bluegill was great , got home about 3 , parts for auto headlight covers were here early so I installed the new bushings in the gearmotor , got them working as they should.

Will install lug nuts tomorrow.
Too pooped today.
Resting and watching movie Boogeyman..🙄🙄

Rain predicted next 7 days.
I'm needing to bush hog the farm.

A friend of mine who used to work for TSA told us to freeze your water bottles before you go. You can't take liquids but once it's frozen it's a solid, not a liquid. I haven't flown since so I haven't tried it.

Yay! Friday! After work starting messing with our old ugly golf cart, forward quit working so replaced the solenoid....now it doesn't go either direction lol...oops....
What kind, my hubby has fixed many old golf carts?! We have a cool '84 club car we use on our place now. 100$ special! Still has some issues but reliable. We have always enjoyed messing with golf carts.

I got the impression he was doing the flying. Alcohol would be a very bad idea.

Be thankful you aren't working on a 76 V-8 MONZA, had to remove the tire and jack up the engine to change the plugs. Your buzz box actually looks like it will be fun to work on.... Sorry, loose nut speaking. ;)

The son showed up last night at 10:30 with a table and chairs he wants us to use until he has room for it.... Who has room for a 9X4' table? (without the 2 26" leaves). Dang thing has steel 2" square tubing reinforcements set into a hard wood deck. I have moved lighter piano's..... Looks pretty but seriously.... WHY??? and why think you can store it in my dining room?

My arm hurts (DANG COVID SHOT 1) and I am grumpy.... Son over slept (I woke him up at 06:00 and he was already 2 hours late) and he yelled at me as he was walking out the door. I wasn't the one showing up at someone's house keeping them up half the night, I can't get up at 3 if you don't let me go to bed before 1, especially at the end of the week....

Like I said, I'm GRUMPY.....
