My gosh, you are amazing to have gone through all that and survived!!I remember the frustration, tears.
But I also remember the Doctor tell that if I didn't get my head out of my a**, I would be dead in 6 months.
I was a mess.
My blood pressure was constantly in Stroke range.
297/197.
My brain was going to explode.
Seizures weren't controlled.
I was drowning my sorrows in booze and pills.
Quit the booze cold turkey.
Was weaned off the pain pills.
Was weaned off wrong dosage of seizure medication.
Started with just one step at a time literally.
Now I do Military style 5 K's.
Still watch what I eat.
Estelle and I lift weights together.
We also do yoga together.
I try to walk at least a mile a day.
When I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury, I thought my life ended.
Now I know it just changed a bit.
I am one stubborn old Army broad.
I don't quit.I might get side tracked once in awhile.
But I don't quit.
And yes I was active duty when I got hurt.
Was about to be deployed,
Make my stupid accident and even my anxiety issues seem like a minor thing compared to all that. How did you get hurt in the military? I am asking because my daughter and sil are both in the Navy. I do worry about them. They have dangerous jobs. Daughter is on a flightdeck checking things on planes sometimes, and her husband is on a ship as a rescue swimmer plus other stuff he does. He is going to be deployed for almost a year this year sometime who knows where
I do yoga too btw . I miss all the other exercising I used to do and can't do anymore because of my foot
( I cut off half my foot stepping on a scythe that I didn't put away and leaned up against the barn, was wearing flip flops , stupid, all my own mistake, was rushing to put in animals because it was about to storm bad)
