that all sounds like a lot of food , maybe the amounts are really small? Do you really measure everything you eat? Wow, lot of work....

I weigh everything according Doctor's suggestions.
Also on his suggestions I am eating 6 miniature meals a day.
Helps settle my stomach and I don't puke my socks up quite so often.

that would be a ton of work, wow
did the doctor tell you to stick to a certain amount of calories, or give you an actual meal plan on what you should eat? Just curious
( don't think any doctor ever told me I needed to lose weight other than when I was pregnant and gained 50 lbs in the first 3 month...)

1200 calories or 2000 calories.
I think the most I have kept down without being ill.
Is about 1500 calories daily.
I eat a lot of zero calorie foods.
I also meal prep 2 days a week.

With it hitting 103 yesterday, we played in the pool, listening to Hawaiian music. It worked! It really felt like a vacation! We did crave a piece of rib eye steak, so I did a quick BBQ and had some frozen corn and instant mashed potatoes. Once it cooled down to 90 degrees at 7:30PM, we took a 3 1/2 mile walk.

I am on a diet, starting today through Wednesday. So obviously this is going to take commitment on my part. After eating like Miss Georgia at a free casino buffet all weekend I need to make amends to the lords of fitness. So the for the next three days I am eating a salad with healthy fats and protein. No cane sugar, no corn syrups, no enriched flours, no while grain flours, no sweet meat rubs and no fake foods sans a delicious sugar free simulated bubbly beverage and lots of water.

week 2 day 2

I just can't return to my diet somehow...every day I cheat lately, ever since the trip seems like
I need to stop

had 2 pieces of peach pie yesterday but now the peaches are mostly gone, just a few tiny ones left on the trees that nobody wants to pick ( 1'' diametermaybe)

then I went to the Amish store to get flour and got a snack ( sesame sticks I like them a lot and they are junk)

today I WILL try to stick to something reasonable and not have extra food

sweet and sour red cabbage from the garden, potatoes and schnitzel

Day two as a salad eater. Interesting how the less sugar and flour I eat the less appetite I have. No wonder America is so overweight. We are being chemically altered to consume more goods. Goods that are getting more and more expensive by the day.

One more day of this and I will be firing up that smoker for a hearty serving a protein with a side of protein.

week 2 day 3

today I am finally going to make stuffed grapeleaves with greek yogurt sauce
I needed lemons for this, and couldn't find any till yesterday. But I had to buy a whole bag , no single ones available
that's ok, they will get used up

had a peach and banana smoothie yesterday evening, was really good

it's not just the sugar and flour, when there is an entire isle of chips and soda in the grocery store, you have to think there is something very wrong with the average American diet
then several isles of frozen junk, an isle of candy, an isle of boxed cardboard with sugar on top they sell as breakfast with a small area hidden way on top or bottom with a few cans of whole oats thrown in....
BUT , nobody is forcing anyone to eat this stuff

your weakness is mine...you and i would fight over the chips for sure ! probably need to lock you in chicken coop or out building till i watched my show and ate my jalapeno chips !

dug garlic yesterday evening and it was 88f...i think i am getting acclimated to this weather...anyway..all this garlic now....i am about to stink...eat it till i smell it when i sweat i think...there goes my diet...garlic noodles in my future...i see if i can have a tiny bit of will power.

Too bad you weren't closer. I currently have 2-3 pound lemons falling out of my tree. One dropped and smashed my solar tiki torch below it. If I had to guess, I have 500 pounds of lemons in just two trees .
I'm still 209-210-211-210-209-210, etc. It was 95 degrees on my walk yesterday. I had a cool towel on my neck, and carried a huge bottle of Body Armor sports drink.

@sonya123 you had me on the sesame sticks. Can rarely find them, don’t have a recipe for them. I’d buy a snack mix just for the sesame sticks.
try an Amish store if they have any in your area
they have lots of snacks but I try to stick to just one little bag or I will eat too much of that stuff

I have been trying to grow a Myer lemon here in a pot ( indoors in winter of course) . It lost all its leaves during the winter but surprisingly it came back and grew some more , but it's tiny, no blossoms on it either
one thing I miss Florida for is not being able to grow tropical stuff
( but then I couldn't grow cabbages in Florida LOL)

Come on my walk with me today. Get out, get some fresh air, get healthy, and enjoy some beautiful trees.

My 3 Day Diet ended today. And it did the trick as that bloated feeling I got from eating like a pig all weekend is long gone and my energy has stabilized nicely. Of course I did more than diet, I added on a few extra reps and sets in the weight room and pushed myself harder on my hikes. Next time I go to get seconds I need someone to slap me.

week 2 day 6

junk today, no more frozen meals , need to make more, so hot dogs. Haven't had those in probably at least half a year maybe more.
Maybe fries if I can free up an oven to heat them up in
