Had Estelle again today.
Just for a few hours 10:30-2:30pm.
Wasn't to bad.
She colored, tried to eat a red crayon. Granny gave her goldfish cracker instead.
Vacuumed the house after she left.
Put Strawberry's food dishes back down, so she could eat, and drink.
Picked up the toys, started to untangle doily thread again.
Ate late lunch meatloaf sandwich on hamburger bun.
Took my mom her birthday card.
Getting up early in morning to walk.
Thought I broke my left foot at Physical Therapy last Monday.
Stepped off balance equipment wrong.
Foot finally went down enough for x ray.
It's not broken, just bruised.
When I get back from walking in the morning will start laundry, dishes.
Need to clean the mirrors in bathroom then that job will be done.
Got to pour bleach down tub/shower drain, it's running slow.
Got the bathroom cabinet open tonight with water dripping.
Suppose to freeze tonight.
Will open up kitchen cabinets after Strawberry goes to bed.
Make sure water drips there too.
Everybody have a good night, stay warm, leave water dripping.

Yesterday. I went out and did a lilbit of shopping at dollar general. Got a small electric space heater for the bathroom, until the central heat gets replaced.also learned the only 2 tire store's in this 1 horse town closed down.so i'll be waiting untill next week to get good tires for the car,and to do my primary shopping for the month.

Today I'll be spending most of my day inside cleaning house.due to lower temps and rain.

@Meerkat good to hear you are ok and hope you heal well you will be in our prayers.

@Terri9630 it looks good and all coming along you will be finished in no time.

Yesterday did the usual being vacuuming, deep cleaning bathroom and toilet, washing dishes, folding washing and remaking the bed.

Today we have not done much except to separate lavender we had drying and turn the rack of thyme we have drying in front of the slow combustion fireplace. It is cold wet and raining here with cold strong winds.

:huggs:Nice to be back with the gang, thank you.

Glad you’re safe @Meerkat and get well soon!

Thanks Guard, and me too.:huggs:

Going back to our hotel in a little bit to shower and get clean clothes, pack all of our stuff and check out. Daughter is driving back home soon. Snow is forecasted tomorrow and we have to travel over a pass to get back into New Mexico, so she needs to leave today. Thinking husband will be released tomorrow morning and we can beat it out of here in the morning. Just now arranging for IV antibiotics to be delivered to us when we get home. He's on continuous right now, but they would be switching to a one a day type. Hopefully it'll all come together. Not much sleep happening when I'm sleeping at the hospital.

Hope all is good with your hubby today. :huggs:

Husbands breathing is a bit better today. But he is taking the IV antibiotics (1:30 am was our last one) for the pseudomonia, and oral antibiotics for the mersa in his lung, and another oral for the swelling. Plan this morning is to get him breakfast made, take care of the animals and go to work for 1/2 day. I've been out nearly two weeks. Just have to remember that everything on my desk at work doesn't need to be done today. More IV meds came by courier last night, and home health nurse will be here in the next few days to change his midline bandaging.

Hopefully the worst is over Amish. We pray for all here along with loved ones and special prayers for some. That Messa is some bad stuff glad he is whipping it.

Such a scary situation for you and your family. I am glad to hear he is breathing a bit better. Give him my best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Went up to the Church kitchen this morning and helped make lots of Sloppy Joe Sauce for two upcoming events on the 31st. Went to local grocery for eggs and grapes. Came home and did exercise video since I couldn't walk this morning (rain). I have a few eBay photos to take for drafts I wrote yesterday, make another grilled chicken salad for dinner and then relax.

Dishes, done.
Laundry started
Floors vacuumed
Trash taken out
Got to pin socks together before doing up whites
Ran to bank to check something on statement.
It was in my favor, but I always check just the same.
Walked outside today it was cool but 50*.
Got 6 packages of cooked rice( 2 cups each) in freezer for future meals.
Got half of meatloaf going into freezer in portion sized bags.
Having goulash for supper.
Then taking mom to table bingo tonight for her birthday yesterday.

Hey Weedy, he says thanks and to say he is much better so far today!
Just got home from work, and made the man lunch. His go to "I feel bad" lunch is tuna sandwich and tomato soup. Need to get the bedroom and bathroom cleaned up since he is living in both pretty much. Need to go to the post office, bank, and pharmacy for him. Tend to the animals and make chili for dinner.

I'm glad he's feeling better. Make that boy a big pot of tomato soup, its cold outside and soups awesome!

Yes! He can now walk and breathe at the same time from the bedroom to the dining room, using the cane or walker. Big difference from wheelchair and constant oxygen. Got on the exercise bike with the seat to move his legs slowly to avoid blood clots. Just on 3 liters of oxygen at night. He wants to take a shower today, so I need to saran wrap his midline in his upper arm. He's on high dosages of steroid to keep his airways open to he is "starving to death". I told him not to watch the food channel. The middle of the night IV stuff is difficult, but only for two weeks so I guess I'll live.

Amish Heart, glad your hubby is better. all the best. My hubby was gifted with 10 pounds of carrots and 3 large heads of cabbage. At least that's what he saud, but guess who got gifted with them. LOL Anyway daughter and I have been peeling and slicing all morning. Will get them on dehydrators after while.

Fantastic news here today on the buying our home front is that we heard today from the bank that we have the house loan yay !!!!!! :woo hoo: . Now the organisation starts with getting paperwork signed, insurances organised, removalists organised, new car purchased and the list goes on.

So apart from that this morning we started off with loading all the bulky wardrobes and shelves from the garage we replaced and loaded them on the trailer with our dismantled had it wardrobes and took them to the tip for the dismantled stuff and donated 2 shelving units and an old bar we used for storing things in the garage with to Endeavour Foundation along with some heart swags I made for them to sell. The Endeavour shop at the tip is on a government grant and they fund disability facilities and workshops for the disabled so a really worthwhile cause.

Came home and had lunch and a bit of a break and harvested all of the English lavender from the front gardens and we will hang it to dry shortly. DH then washed up the dishes, cleaned the benches and I wiped them and put them away. I have also packed up one box of patterned fabric, lace and cords in the sewing room.
