Had a good day at the market, sold all the bread, eggs and veggies except some cucumbers. Sold the 2 chickens we took for $50 ( for both) , didn't sell a lot of meat but there were 4 meat vendors total there
I paid attention, my bread was gone first LOL. Everyone sold out on bread today, people must have wanted carbs LOL
Will catch up later have to do dishes and animal care that didn't get done this morning
$4 a pound ( and the other guy selling chickens whole are $4.50 a pound) , they were 5-7 lbs, don't remember the exact but it came out to $50Golly, How Big were They...?!?
if you want meat I would pick a different breed, these guys are all lard , we had 2 a few years agoThey've tried their hand at raising American Guinea Hogs and had their first 5 babies born yesterday, he was over the moon. Had to see the photos! Wouldn't mind raising them, too, but I'd want the set up done first. We'll see.
Send her to my house!!!Saturday night...and the wife has gone on a house cleaning tear for no apparent reason.
I cleared out to the deck with some music and wine. Nothing good was going to come from me staying in the house.
I checked in on the weather thread!! Stupid hot, and I'm loving it!!A good day. @Pearl refuses to keep tabs on her weather. It was 99 here today . We’ve been in the 80s and supposed to be 80s and 70s next week.
Under the circumstances I let @Bacpacker take a day off and did my own weedeating. Got my sourdough baked- best loaf yet! . Made a nice wheel of cheddar. Then we did 9-1/2 quarts of salsa. Have more to take care of tomorrow but am hoping to make it to church so will see what I can accomplish.

Beautiful place!!!! Just some like the ancestral homes in the Mountains I remember going to and staying in.Should be able to start putting the trusses up today and possibly the 1/2"×1" wire. I'll go down south on Monday to get the rest of the T 1-11 siding. The little building on the right is the brooder building.
