Tell me more about Trailer Park Sloppy Joes. I’m intrigued.

May I ask what is going on with your legs? My new knee hurts when I sit down or stand up.
Muscles are sore. Particularly in the lower to mid thigh area on the backs. From squatting and lifting while I was cleaning and assembling the cat tree. I'm out of shape so any heavy lifting is like running a marathon just about. I ran out of magnesium and have to get more tomorrow. They are so sore that it hurts if I press on them or squeeze them a little. They give out when I'm trying to sit. Knees are surprisingly ok. Hips are a little sore too, but not as bad as the legs. I spent so much time in bed while I was sick my legs aren't used to the movement.

Knee pain sucks and I hope the pain will go away for you soon.

My whole body is pretty stiff today. Still managed to get packages at the post office and curbside pickup at Walmart. Have to get RXs tomorrow. Kitties have piled on me for now.

Made it home yesterday evening. Had a good weekend.
Got to go see 6 day old grand-niece. So tiny, so cute.
Back to the grind stone today.
I'm still on old time - went to bed about 7 last night and was awake by 4 this morning when the coffee started.
Y'all thought I was joking when I said I didn't do change very well didn't chya? 🤪
Now, now, now, bed at 7?? How old are you?? Uh oh, stole the words you used on me!!😉♥️

Soak in an Epsom salt bath 🛁. Soaks the sore out.

Nothing but tv today, resting from yesterday. Oh, took a chance on a company in new hampshire last week (recommended by a friend). I ordered 10 sets of guitar strings. Came today, exactly what I ordered. Packaging was perfect, had a hand written thank you and a sticker for my guitar case.

I was impressed by ‘Just Strings’ .com. They have strings for acoustic instruments, not for everything but more types and brands than I could count. I do recommend them! Prices were better than average, service was prompt and precise! That’s rare these days...

More tv this evening, earlier i took a pie out of the oven. Gonna have a snack in a bit.

After chores and breakfast are done, we're heading down south to the feed store and lumber yard. Going to get some plywood to start my boat building project. Might get some tools too and definitely more ammo.
We're expecting snow on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I need to get the chains on the tractor, weld up the cracks on the snow plow, hook up the snowblower to the side by side and change oil in both blowers. Before Thursday we need to clear all the rocks off the road so they don't get ingested in the blower when I'm clearing the road. I've got almost 3 miles of road to clear.

Neighbor brought over his skid loader and did some snow clearing. Poor lone guinea dead this morning...raccoon. I really hate raccoons. One of the turkey runs collapsed from the snow. Bummer. Three are still in there. They have a part of a tunnel that works for them for now. I had to get husband to his MRI appt, so that's all I could do. Filled a cart at Aldi, unloaded and put away. Company got the corvette out of the roundtop and on to the driveway, so they leave tomorrow. Time to make dinner.
Raccoons are simple, they go after the low hanging fruit, bait them away from your coops, they're lazy. You could also dust some ground red pepper powder around where they get in, they're like dogs, they sniff continually. One of Roscoe and Maude's cubs got into some the other day, I thought he was going to die on me! its safe around birds, they don't sniff around.
Anyone but me ever hear a coon scream? its pitiful.

It's been down in the teens here. Was 13 last night.
I tried to take yesterday off. I feel almost normal but working in that extra cold air for hours starts tearing up my lungs n throat. They got the schedule all fouled up too since running out of small logs. They had a crew work sunday night but I called out n said no on that.
I'm mon -fri on the schedule
It's supposed to be a 4 day holiday weekend
And..I'm trying not to get totally sick.
They said they would figure it out but , no one could run it so units piled up for monday am shift. I went n worked my shift last night n my throat is pretty rough today but otherwise I feel ok.
It's clear, sunny n frozen outside. At least when it starts snowing it will warm up , well..out of the teens a bit.

Well...... I just quit my Tuesday bowling team today. I joined the league in October, when a team was short players. My team mates were not committed to bowling or showing up to bowl. One only bowled two games out of the three we played. She would then decide not to bowl the last game because she didn't feel like bowling anymore. I can understand if she was sick, but not feeling like bowling is not an excuse. Now I understand why the team was short two people when I joined. They quit too. The other one shows up late all the time.
Many weeks I bowl on the team myself. Why the He-- did you sign up to bowl on a league if your can't commit to bowling weekly and for all the games.
I could sub as the manger asked my to do, but most likely I would end up subbing for my old team:rolleyes:
Well, at least I still have my Thursday league.

One of our water hydrants froze up this morning by the chicken coop. I took the propane torch out and thawed it. Never had that happen before. Usually we have a couple feet of snow on the ground by now to insulate the pipes. Right now we only have a couple inches. Snow is in the forecast starting Thursday night. Hopefully it'll dump a couple feet or more.

I bought a treadmill on Black Friday. They threw it in the truck for me. When I got it home, I realized I can no longer lift 297 pounds by myself. I had to take all the parts separately from the huge box, and placed them into mama's computer room. You can barely even walk into this room, so today is dedicated to building this treadmill, all 400 pieces! Definitely not for the faint of heart.

I did the school bus driving with the pickup truck, animal chores which took awhile because it was freezing out. Water had to be hauled. Company left. Changed clothes and went to the meeting for mom at the Mennonite Manor, then went and visited mom. Back home to make husband lunch. I need to go back into the bigger town for feed and for pharmacy pickup. I thought husband wanted to take a drive, but he's snoozing on the recliner at the moment. We'll see. I need a few days to get things back to normal. No cooking for me tonight. PBJ or takeout. Ha.

They shouldn't have joined in the first place!!

Plus my turkeys figured out how to get my attention..
I found 3 handfuls of brass and 10 cents..and the trailhead creek was really frozen Sunday..
Cold hike

Got about 4 miles down the road and had a flat tire on the trailer. Put the spare tire on and it was low, so was the other tire. Good thing I carry an air compressor. Got down south and bought 2 new tires for the trailer. Got our shopping done and started heading home and noticed the trailer lights aren't working. Oh well, only 50 more miles to go and very little traffic at night here. Besides, the wife is driving and I'm sure she could talk her way out of a ticket.

I am DONE for today. Cat Care shift, 4 boxes of books, 4 bundles for donation to Clutter to Care.

@Pearl Would you be so kind as to throw a beer at me :D
Missed this earlier, was busy drinking all the beer!!😃🍺 Actually I was so busy outside I have only had two beers! Working on #3 now! I'll make up for it tomorrow!!😉

I joined another team that bowls on Wednesday! A team was short a person because someone fell and broke their foot and they will be out the rest of the season.

I will now bowl Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Good, I always felt that if you are going to join a team ( of any kind) it means you will participate in it!! Sounds like you found people who want to bowl! 👍

Last night I realized that our temps were going to drop into the 20s, so I ran out an opened the drain valve on my rain barrels. It was all ready below freezing but the water ran freely down the hill.... I just really didn't want to break my supply line this winter.

The wife gave away all our Thanksgiving leftovers, then when I got home from work she sent me back out to pick up a sub sandwich... it was okay but I know she will be sick tomorrow.. Fast food always knocks her for a loop...
